While it may not be new, it's definitely gaining traction.. And some of the sillier things (like the upside down pineapple) are going the way of urban legends. =)
Would like to see it more in Utah, since it's definitely a "thing" when you get outside the lowly shelter of Utah-centric Swingular. (SLS, Kasidie, etc, are all at least mentioning it regularly now, if not downright pushing / endorsing it).... And the OTHER online communities (like reddit) are pushing it pretty hard.
Even when it comes to swinging, it seems Utah is sheltered. =)

This is just anecdotal and you are failing to realize that you are talking to them in a LS scenario where everyone wants to be the super open and cool movie star-like swingers. Same reason all SM's in the LS are respectful, kind and the Good Lord's gift to couples seeking MFM or even the ones that are not. We all play The Imitation Game. They will talk to you openly, honestly, will tell you how much they enjoy it, how healthy for their relationship is. It almost becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. But, unless you were raised in a far away land where the LS was a norm and that we all know it has never existed, these confessions are an integral part of the illusion. And, if you take all that at face value, you are lying to yourself and even worst, believing it.

thoughts on Pictures - - I have to agree that just a genital shot for an opener is not very good. But I have also seen face shots that look like mug shots and sure are not much more interesting. Come on, this is a SWINGERS site!!! After all the object is to promote our involvement in this lifestyle. Our profile and pics are supposed to tell something about us. My wife likes to pose, and I enjoy taking her pictures. We try to use pics that show how we feel, or how we want to be precieved in the lifestyle. We get lots of feed back telling how they like her smile, or how we look like a fun couple. It makes us feel good that people enjoy what we have to share with them.
Some people have no pics at all, others have one, or just a few dull shots, or the close up genital shots. Put something into your albums, and you will get more out of this site, and maybe this lifestyle. Thats my opinion.

We know exactly how you feel. Funny how rules begin to change after people have paid their money.
We had friends that went on the Nudist Cruise on the same ship, the Carnival Legend, a couple of years ago. They said you could be nude anywhere except the main dining room. And as soon as the ship left the various ports you could be nude again...meaning nudity was allowed every evening. I guess we swingers can't be trusted with our own nudity. :( Hopefully they won't add more ridiculous rules and suck the fun out of this cruise. We're keeping our fingers crossed :)
