Politics / Religion and the LS - - When you think about it, with all the major, minor, overt or unspoken, and even subconscious qualifiers and disqualifiers that people in the lifestyle use to determine who is 'fuck-worthy', it's amazing that ANYONE is having any kind of naughty swinger sex! HaHa We've often said (And yes, we've been guilty of this as well.) that many swingers often spend more time looking for reasons NOT to fuck rather than looking FOR reasons to fuck. That seems kinda like the antithesis of swinging when you really think about it. Judging by the tone and rhetoric (And, again, I have been just as guilty.) of recent threads, those in positions of power and influence who would seek to divide us for their personal gain have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. Anyone been to Thursday Night SwingersCircle Las Vegas? - Anyone been to Thursday Night SwingersCircle Las Vegas? - Buttabing, you can't be on the list. The party does not list who will be there. You have to register (purchase tickets) online and then show up. You get a phone call about 2-3 hours before the party to let you know which hotel and room number. We have attended 4 times and had a great time all 4 times. As to who shows up, mostly average of any Lifestyle event. But you really should read what the party is before you go. It is NOT a meet and greet. It is for REAL swingers.

Comfort level of casual vs relationships? - - We are still fairly new to this whole lifestyle shindig; just under a year. Trying to figure what aspects we like, don’t like and are just meh. I’m curious though, when it comes to forming emotional connections with other people how open are you to the idea? If it’s a scale of 1 - 10. One being completely casual, “what was your name again” sex and two being “I deeply love you and want you to come live with me and my other two wives” sort of deal... where do you fall? ::: For us we are discovering that we prefer the more connective experiences and don’t shy away from words like “love” or “relationship”. But we also love just super casual fun experiences. All of it entirely contingent on the people involved. So not quite true swingers but also not quite true poly. Trying to see how common or uncommon that is.

Swingers on a Cruise - - We're taking a western Caribbean cruise the third week of march. Does anyone know of a forum where people post swinger activity on various cruises? We wouldn't mind meeting some folks for drinks and maybe more while on the cruise.

We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - No drama here...fuck that

New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - I am curious to know how many people in Utah would like to have a swingers club somewhere in the Salt Lake City area? So, please respond to the following questions: 1. Would you attend a swingers club in Salt Lake? 2. If so, how often would you attend? 3. What types of things would you like to see at the club? I.e., play rooms, dance floor, activities, etc. 4. What types of things have you seen at other clubs that you liked/disliked? 5. What do you feel would be a fair entrance fee? Your response to these questions would be greatly appreciated and if there is enough interest could result in Utah finally getting a place opened just for those of us in the Lifestyle. Thanks to everyone in advance for their responses. While I am aware Utah is a unique environment and will have some challenges, it would be great to have a place where we can go and be open with who we are and find others with the same mentality. Thanks all! Caliana

Why did you join Swingular? - Wondering what brings people here - Someone turned us on to the site, and we are trying to make new friends in the Tampa area. Lots of swingers here in Florida, and we look forward to meeting you. R & C

hotel party advice - - I've never been to a hotel party for the purpose of meeting swingers/possible swinging. Has any one else been? We've been invited next weekend and I'd like to know what to expect. I'm already discussing it with the Mr since he seems to be a little more forward than I. (ahem) Of what *I* will and won't be doing, just in case. I hate going to these kinds of things sometimes because it almost always ends up being a waste of time and money. Then on the way home I'm mentally kicking myself for 1, the time I wasted, and 2, the money I wasted.

Wishbones - - I think this is a great idea! We once went to a local bar for a gathering of swingers (not a swingers bar), but didn't know the regular couples from the swingers and spent all night not approaching anyone and not being approached. (more than likely because they didn't know we were swingers). I could see this working, but the problem is we need to spread the word! Also, where do we get one of these? Besides going to Myrtle Beach! (internet site mabye?)

'No pressure!' or 'Boundaries respected!' - What does the opposite look like? - "...isn't it a given that one won't assault another person or attempt to do so?" One would hope. Unfortunately the lifestyle has become so adulterated (pun intended) by just about anyone who thinks it's a free, easy way to get NSA sex that you now have a virtual cornucopia of people who don't really "get it". What I guess I'm trying to say is that it seems like it's no longer wife swapping or swinging. It's now "the lifestyle" and apparently includes every manner of sexual libertine imaginable including those who view swingers (and yes I mean mostly females) as wanton sluts who are borderline nymphomaniacs that lack the capacity or will to say (or mean) "No.". It would be very interesting to poll women who have been in the lifestyle for a considerable amount of time, say ten, fifteen or twenty years, and ask them if they're ever had to more or less fight a guy off or worse, or if they've ever entertained unwanted advances so as to not rock the boat or harsh the vibe at a swing party. Sadly I'd be willing to bet the number would be fairly high. [em]Emo_8[/em]
