We live here. Our experience is that most couples do not hate single men. Most married men are not intimidated by the presence of single men. Most couples and singles whether super active or rarely active in the lifestyle don’t post anything in the forum section of this website. As is the case with so much on the internet, a few of us that do read or post in the forums, may give others the impression that we are a good general representation of the community’s mindset. Obviously we aren’t. What we read here is mostly just personal preferences. There are some thoughts expressed that we find interesting, sometimes enlightening. Sometimes people are just venting. Sometimes it’s angry venting stemming from personal experience. As for insecurities, we all have at least a few.[/quote]

I've been judging in car shows for nearly 30 years - everything from concours national events to local cruise ins - and I've also been a participant for more years than that.
It's never ceased to amaze me what total idiots some organizations can come up with to judge at the shows they put on.

Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger - Lol, Jeff has been wearing a black ring on his pinky finger of his right hand for almost 10 year's. We heard it was a swinger thing way before we were Swingers but he kept wearing it to mess with people at the time. Definitely not a new thing.
We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - I think alot of people would agree that it can be difficult to find a good, solid 4-way connection when swapping with couples, and sometimes you don't know things aren't clicking until you're already playing. The best thing to do is put it behind you and move on to the next. When you finally do make that awesome connection with another couple, it makes the "not so good" experiences worth it.

I have to disagree with you to a cetain degree. I have seen many couples gravitate to other couples. Also as a single male, I have even been blessed enough to find the occasional couple or single lady looking for it. The best thing to do is to keep a positive attitude and keep trying. Eventually something should come your way.

I am sorry you guys are having such a hard time finding playmates. All I can say is that it is their loss. As others have told you before, this is largely a numbers game. If you are in an area without a large proportion of swingers then it will be harder for you. I did like the way you found your fun though. I would have loved to be in that bar on that night.
Where do you hang out? - Running into each other - Aside from the big events or the Club scene, where do you hang out? There is quite a bit of discussion about recognizing swingers and where can we find swingers. Well maybe we could just let each other know where and when we might be found. We will start.
My darling wife is not much into the club life these days. We are so busy that our free time is often subject to spontaneity. We live in Cottonwood Heights. Our favorite local small bar is the Elixir Lounge, conveniently close to a few nice hotels. We also head over to Hog Wallow from time to time. I work a ton of hours on Saturdays and Saturday nights, so Friday nights we tend to want to be home about 11:00 p.m., but we do like to go have a little fun beginning late Friday afternoon. Sundays during the day we like to go have some fun from time to time. If Mrs. Delicious gets bored and decides to go out on her own Saturday evenings, she will probably head to Elixir. So those are a couple of places and times you might happen to run into us. If you are ever at either of these two establishments and you think you might recognize us, please feel free to come say hi.
Anyway, if you walk up to someone and ask them if they are Deliciously Wet, and it isn't us, that might end up being interesting anyway.
