Main picture is a body part....why? - - I agree, CYNANDHIM. It's all about choice. We are all on a swingers site, let's remember. Don't know why anyone would be offended by any pic. If you feel like advertising your dick or your ass in order to lure playmates, then that is a personal choice. Whatever floats your boat!

SOTD - A place to post your song of the day...preferably funny ones. :-P -
I think you missed this one, Evildoer: Blow Me in the Car www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEEzrohbtdk
Oh, I have that one too but I like "God Is Gonna Fuck You Up", more. Cuz that's what He's gonna do to all you nasty swingers! [em]Emo_4[/em]

Discretion a Must?!? - Let us know - We have been noticed. My wife goes to one of those offices where there are 4-5 doctors that work there. One of them noticed my wife's pics on an adult site. (because he had an ad there as well) No issues came of it, but that has been the only time anyone did "Hey I saw your pic". We are discreet, but on the same hand feel that anyone that sees our pic is because they were in the website too. We try not to make any enemies of other swingers and so we have not had anyone out to get us by sending our profile to other non-swingers.

Rules vs Rules - -
OMG, SLDCPL. You're right. I thought it was a little too coincidental that their screen name was exactly the same as what this thread was about. We're onto you buddy.

Did she use a condom with the co-worker? Did you ENJOY the feeling of not using a condom with that woman? I suggest that you see if you can get as many people on your side as you can so you can throw that in her face and show her just how wrong she was since it's just CRAZY that just because you are allowed to fuck other women (with or without condoms) doesn't mean she should be allowed to fuck other guys. That's just not right. I would cut off her allowance and make her like cook dinner and wash the clothes and stuff just to show her who's the boss and teach her a lesson. Ooooorrrrr you could sit down and talk about this rationally and maybe figure out why each of you did what you did and set some equitable ground rules for the future. Or not....
Zombies never use a condom. In the zombie apocalypse all sex will be bareback co-worker or not. Zombies hate condoms and Volvos. They think an Audi rocks. That is why my calculations predict that zombie are a higher risk group than intravenous drug users, gay men, swingers, singers or even the Little Lebowski Urban achievers Salt lake City chapter.

Partners with hall Passes - - Bummer you haven't found single guys worthwhile. (This is the Mrs. by the way.) I guess we have just been lucky in that department. So many people bash single guys and I just don't understand why. We play separate more and more often. We have a harder time finding single women or women with hall passes. Maybe because I am the picky one :) I mean if I am going to share my incredibly sexy and amazing man she better be worth my night alone watching the kids! So ladies, please let me know if you're game to play. All you need to do is read our profile to see what "worth it" would mean to us. I also find it amusing how so many swingers claim to be open minded then are incredibly judgmental of people who choose to play separate. What is up with that? It isn't always easy finding couples where all sides are attracted and ready to get naked.

Go turn on Oprah - re:swingers - Not bad, all n all we thought the show was on a positive note. We think we will try it.......LOL

Vegas next month - - we can only speak for what we like: zumanity and absinthe are fun and SEXY. copperfield: was great, chris angel = HORRIBLE carrot top: we've seen 3 times, and he updates his show regularly. you will be pleasantly surprised. gordy browne: we've seen 3 times funny and a great variety show any cirque' show is worth seeing, dress up and have a fun date night together. laugh factory & brad garrett's comedy clubs are fun, but really not any better than the cheaper ones you can find @ the discount ticket booths. free concerts on the weekend @ Fremont experience, + great place to people watch! you could go to any of the topless pools, but you DO have to pay to get in. best value is buying a lounger because it comes with food and drink. couples oasis: a private swingers club, huge variety of people that go artisan hotel is a fun and sexy boutique hotel, not well known, but a lot better than any of the swingers clubs. do NOT stay there if you want peace and quiet. western sahara: sex & stripper shops for fun & sexy clothing we go to vegas monthly because we live nearby, and we stay somewhere different each time. sometimes down town, sometimes on the strip, and sometimes @ a Hilton, or embassy suites. for us, we don't do the topless pools anymore. kinda a "been there, done that" thing for us. also because of the extra cost to get in. it's been over 4 years since we've been to couples oasis. but the rest of our opinions are very current. we discovered we are getting older, ouch!! we went to Omnia, and HATED the synth dance music. we prefer r&b and 80 & 90's rock and roll. to get in was $50.00, drinks were $17-22 each, water $7.00. go to Tao, the food is great, and when you are ready to dance, you bypass the long line outside by just going upstairs. if you don't get to vegas often, go to the strip, TONZ of things to see have extra time, go down town, go to pawn stars, vamped, capo's, etc..

Important ! Please read this post. - -
You know, I read the sign on my way in here that said "Don't feed the trolls!", but I'm bored and this looks like a fun way to kill a few minutes. So, let's get started shall we?
Ahhhhhhhhhhh another guy who THINKS he knows something, but later on proves that he doesn't....
We all participate in risky behavior, huh? I suppose that depends on your definition of "risky". If you really want to be pedantic, every time you draw breath you're taking a risk. You take an even bigger risk should you choose to not draw breath.
I am sorry, thought this was a swinger site... I guess you have a study that's not from the 1990's that shows that over 50% of people engage in swinging, right? Nope, you don't, therefore we engage in risky behavior!
Typically when one uses the term "risky behavior" they're implicitly saying "behavior that is risky beyond the risk of normal behavior". Having sex with your spouse, regardless of whether they're cheating or not, is not risky behavior.
Regardless if they're cheating? Really? What, praytell, are you doing here, I guess you've solved the world's STD's crisis, right? Found a shot that cures herpes and HIV? Then how is it NOT risky if they are cheating?
Uhm... Did I miss something? What exactly are you saying "BULLSHIT!" to? It seems fairly clear that you're both stating the same sentiment.. are you calling bullshit on the fact that he bothered replying?
AHHHHHHH....Failed reading comprehension, did we? Let's have a look at what they said... What you UNDERLINED is the key.... WITHOUT complete absinence............ Without abstinence, you're engaging in risky behavior! Now, one could say, 'I use condoms, dental damns, and ALWAYS practice safe sex!' Is that enough? Let's see, ever been with a squirter? Ever had a woman get so worked up that her juices are squishing around on your balls? I guess that's not enough to catch something, right? Dr. Darcone, me thinks you need to rethink your ideas.
Are you actively going about doing cultures of these things, just looking for a place disease can be communicated from?
I don't have to, I pay taxes so I don't.
I don't know about the rest of you, but if there's a wet towel at the gym, and it's not mine, I'm not touching it. Soap Dishes? You know, I've always wondered at the point of anti-microbial soap..
Have you ever heard the saying, 'It is better to remain silent and thought of as a fool than to open your mouth to remove all doubt?' This would apply for you. Wet towels look like dry ones, yours is next to theirs, and you've NEVER accidentally grabbed someone else's? A little nick on your hand, BINGO! Anti-Microbial soap ONLY works if left in place for 30 seconds or more. Now, you place your soap on the tray, anyplace that the soap touches, in 30 seconds, would be 99.9% free of microbes, HOWEVER, anywhere it doesn't touch isn't. But you wouldn't touch the soap tray with your fingers, then touch your eyes, nose or mouth, right?
And before you knock wikipedia, it's been verified to be more accurate than any other available encyclopedia. So, while influenza and bronchitis may be transmitted sexually, they aren't STI's. If you get herpaghonasyphaclap from kissing some random corpse, then it is not sexually transmitted by definition. By the same token, an oral infection of HSV-1 is -not- an STI. It becomes an STI once it infects the sacral ganglia. Also worth noting is that neither the CDC nor WHO acknowledge HSV-1 as being an STI.
Chlamydia is the most common form of STD, it IS passed from casual and accidental contact, Herpes IS an STD, it also is passed from incidental contact. So, your entire premise if wrong.
For the actual statistics on extramarital affairs, see: This Study published by Oxford (22-25% of men, 11-15% of women). (fwiw, that article is a fantastic meta-analysis of a broad range of studies)
Actually from a Colorado college, not Oxford. Oxford may be where you found it, but your reading comprehension is, once again, coming into question. The first sentence of your report states its from Colorado. The last time I checked, Oxford is not in Colorado. Additionally, the study is from over 10 years ago, nothing has changed since then, right? The internet hasn't become more prevalent? Easy access to willing sex partners hasn't added to the instances of EMI? Nah, nothing to see here. Perhaps one should look at a more priminent site for these things? Perhaps one should look at the sample size to determine statistical significance? Perhaps one should see who was 'randomly' selected to participate?
Jim, do you actually have a point you're trying to espouse here? Are you just trying to say that sex isn't safe? I'm pretty sure we were all aware of that fact.
As a matter of fact I do, that point is: GROW THE FUCK UP! We're all taking risks, don't cry about the results of your risk taking. Would you allow someone who suddenly decided to try skydiving, had no training, packed their own chute, then jumped and was injured to complain about how they were injured? Of course not, but since it is someone who was TOTALLY aware of the risks involved and they're participating in KNOWN risky behavior its OK because you're participating in it also?
Or are you trying to say "Who needs protection? Sex is dangerous no matter what!"? If that's what you're trying to say, you have much to learn on the difference between risk and certainty.
Not at all.... I am saying, we're all aware of the risks, we don't need to read their alligator tears because they rolled the dice and came up snake eyes.
There are a plethora of things one can do to reduce the risk of contracting -any- STI. There's no certainty that you'll ever be completely safe from contracting one. There's also no certainty that you'll ever contract one.
For once, we can agree on something.
One strong way you can reduce those risks is by clearly communicating what infections you're at risk of spreading. That's the purpose of this thread, and along with most everyone else, I'd like to thank the ABC's for their post.
Showing up at a swingers' party, club, or site is pretty clearly communicating that we're at risk of ANY sexually transmitted desease.

Travel with multiple couples? - We'd like to travel with some lifestylers... - We've gone to Vegas with another couple. It was amazing but I'm not sure it would work with more than two couples. I think San Francisco or Montreal would be good destinations. I've done a bit of looking into both places. I found plenty of interesting adult things to do. We just got back from Denmark and there were a ton of Swingers and apparently some amazing clubs. We weren't searching for swingers theres just a lot of them there. With a larger group there are so many different personalities with different wants and needs. I feel like it might be like trying to herd cats. But if everybody is flexible it could work. I think if every couple had their own car rental it would be helpful. If you want any of my rough itineraries message me.
