Bogeys Nightclub in Clearfield - A Habits style club for northern swingers? - Wouldn't it be great for Northern Utah swingers to have a nightclub like Habits but closer to home?! We have recently checked out Bogeys in Clearfield and they have made some changes for the better. And a certain percentage of men may have just read that and only saw (or acknowledged), "...all women want to be raped." When we already have a very pervasive bias in our culture towards patriarchy and women being subservient to men, especially sexually, then discussions like this, IMHO, cause more harm than good. It doesn't take much looking on the internet to find sites and discussion boards where violence against women is not only overtly depicted through text and image but also actively discussed and even encouraged. We did, eventually, come to the realization that in some instances our first impression, based on looks or whatever, could be overcome, in time, by getting to know people better and eventually finding a different kind of attractiveness that trumped simple physical attraction. We seem to be getting loads of blind friend requests without so much as a 'Hi, like your profile...". If you are legitimately interested in meeting us/getting to know us we would hope you would drop us a quick note with your request or we'll probably assume you are just looking to 'perv' our private pictures and say thanks but no thanks. This is ESPECIALLY true is you are not even in the same time zone. In which case you probably ought to offer some explanation as to why we ought to be friends... ;)
