Those damn single men! - Where do they fit in this lifestyle? - AKLIM...In response to your question: WHat can a single bring to the table that a couple cannot? 1.) TOTAL attention...When you have a couple, he or she will always be aware of their spouse or spousal equivalent...Thus NOT giving 100% of their attention. 2.) NO ONE has to sit out...Earlier you stated that you would not want to watch someone do your wife, as it would bore you. Do you watch porn? Ahhhh...Live porn...What could be better? If someone in a couple takes a break to get a drink, have a smoke, go to the restroom...whatever they do on their break, they come back and watch 2 people with someone, don't you think they would be just as bored as you are? Don't you think you or your wife are worthy of more attention from a triad situation than a few minutes while someone takes a break? 3.) (Directed at Mr. AKLIM) Are you telling me if a single woman wrote you, you would not want to meet? Come on...EVERY man in America would like 2 women at the same time...it is the most common fantasy! 4.) What's wrong with Mr or Mrs. having a little fun on the side while someone IS out of town? NOTHING... Not to say you should adhere to our rules or anything...Just making a statement that answers your question... NOW...On to another thing...IN OUR EXPERIENCE ONLY!!!!!!!! Single males are indeed unreliable...so much so that on another site, we actually put on our profile the names of those who do not show or call to cancel a meeting! But then again...We have had more "meetings" with single males...BUT MANY couples do the same...We feel that there are FAR to many "fantasy swingers" in the lifestyle...In other words, those who THINK it would be cool, but when it came to "shit or get off the pot" they won't...thus they do not show...Another posibility is the old fashioned, "I can get my wife to go to this meeting, then I can convince her to swing!" action...NO single man will pull that one...And how many of us have NOT experienced that one? I am almost willing to bet that those who have the "The ladies talk on the phone" rule HAVE experienced it, and want to avoid it in the future...Now...I see a TON of people saying single men are "gropers" and hangers oners and other things...OUR experience is just the opposite...THE MARRIED men are doing that...SO many times we have seen single men yelled at for WALKING by a couple...NO, NOT talking, touching, rubbing, making tongue actions at the lady, no winking, NOTHING but walking by...YET, a man who has a lady by his side can come over and stick his hand in her skirt or down her blouse...and that is cool...Why? Because he is married or something? Makes no sense to us...ANYONE does something like that unapproved and they should be tossed, but because SO many people have HEARD of bad experiences with single men...NOT actually experienced them themselves, they assume it is the way it is. How many profiles have you seen where someone says we are newbies, then says NO SINGLE MEN like 15 times? Where did they get that? They have not met anyone, they have not been to a club, they are new...Probably from someone else's profile...THEN there are those who say< "Searching for: Single Men, Single Women, Couples" but later in the profile, the last sentence is "No single men" or something like that...You have MANY people in the forums saying they only play with couples, but their profile says differently...And then they want to come in her and bitch that a single man wrote them! WTF??? The single men are DOING what you say...and still get bitched at.... Let this post die....To the single men...Welcome to the whipping post...Enjoy...

Where are all the gentlemen? - - Its single guys like that (a few married ones too) that give single guys bad reputations. I personally feel that regardless if it is a swing party, event, occassion, etc. whenever a couple or woman in general is willing to allow you to touch her in any situation it should be done with all respect. OK, there are def times when she may want to be called a dirty whore, filthy cum slut, just a 3-hole bitch, etc. but those are very obvious times and just because she is a swinger doesn't mean you have the right to put your hands or any other body parts on her without her permission. NOBODY should assume they have any rights to do anything with anyone's body that is not their own! Swingers, Sluts, Whores, Prostitutes, etc. does not mean free for all who care to use me, touch me,etc. People in general should be repected simply because it is their body, regardless of what they may let someone else do to it. There is just no home training anymore, sad, sad wolrd. Whenever I am lucky enough to find a couple that is looking for a single male I make sure to verify what is and what is not allowed. As a single male I understand that I am being given a gift to share in the sexual encounters of this man's wife, lover, partner, girlfriend, baby momma, etc. 90% of the time it is mainly for her enjoyment and I have yet to meet anyone that likes strangers to paw them out of the blue or see a person they care about be pawed without consent. My purpose in that situation is to bring more pleasure to the couple by pleasing the women with/without in same/different room, adding that extra spark they haven't been able to obtain with just the two of them. Ok, I'm getting off my soap box, but this really pisses me off to hear things like that are still happenening and some people can be so ignorant and rude.

STD testing and physicians - who and where - The Utah Aids Foundation in Sugarhouse does walk in testing Mondays and Thursdays. They test for HIV (rapid results, you get them before you leave the clinic), and chlamydia and gonorrhea for free. The chlamydia/gonorrhea are just urine for the free tests, and since they are localized infections, paying for the self collect oral/anal tests are worth it as well ($25/each), as people frequently have those without realizing and while testing clean with their urine tests. My one complaint with there is that they take a while to get results (about a week) and I felt a little talked down to when they pull you into a room to talk about safe sex and using condoms; however, that is a small price to pay for the service you are getting. While, as swingers, those are the two big ones to worry about, it is worth also going to your family physician to get tested for a full panel every few months (I do every 6/8 months for the full panel), since they aren't as common but can still affect people. If you need something quickly and want to avoid paying too much, the best experience I have had is actually at the Salt Lake County Health Department near downtown (http://slco.org/health/std-clinic/testing-treatment/). They charge per test, and they are the least judgmental and most sex-positive place I've found. The only downside is that they don't take insurance, so it doesn't count against your deductible, and getting an appointment can be hard, but they do take walk ins. Safe sex is fun sex, team! Let's all slut it up like crazy but keep it safe. We all have an obligation to police ourselves, and if something happens, take care of that shit!

Just curious are we the only ones? - Just curious are we the only ones? - The black-ring on the right-hand has quickly become the new "standard" on how to tell if someone's a swinger in public. (No, it's not a sure-indicator, but it's gaining traction FAST in the swinger community -- especially outside of Utah where Swingular isn't so well known, and there's not so much of a swinger-bubble). - It started off as a discussion on Kasidie a few years ago. (Many people think it's been around longer, but I've never seen any verified instance of it referenced prior to about 5 years ago... would love to be corrected on this with hard proof, however). - Several swingers bloggers and podcasters picked it up and endorsed it. - Almost all of the larger online swinger communities are now endorsing it. - It's even been mentioned a few times on PBTV's show "Swing". - We recently went on a swingers cruise and saw LOTS of couples wearing them. It's actually got some real traction..... The great thing is that it's small. It's cheap. It's not obvious to anyone else. It's easy to 'deny' if you ever ARE caught ("Oh.. I just liked the ring..").. My wife and I both wear them now... But we've never seen them "in the wild" in Utah... We found that they made a great conversation starter. More Info here: - http://www.okswing.com/ind.. - http://www.lifestylerings.com/faqs.html - http://swapfu.blogspot.com/p/black-ring-right-hand.html Swingular tends to create a little bit of a bubble for us Utah people... since the rest of the country uses other sites. The black-ring concept is trending elsewhere, nationally... and not so much in Utah.

New Orleans take over - - We attended a Lifestyles Convention in New Orleans a couple of years ago. It was great. The events in the city attract swingers from all over the world and we woul reckon that you are guaranteed agreat time

Met someone you know at a lifestyle event - - Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. There's really no easy way to explain, deflect, lie, or otherwise extricate yourself from that situation. Counting, just now in my head, it's happened to us no less than half a dozen times. Everyone from family members (Ms. Evil's cousin), friends of friends (BFF's of our former next door neighbors), business acquaintances/clients, you name it. It's always such an unexpected shock that we invariably handle it poorly. LOL ps- Happened again last night at a wedding, of all things! Not really a lifestyle event/party but plenty of swingers there and the implications were probably fairly obvious to anyone really paying attention.

Are you a host? - Looking to create a refrence of all of you out there who love to host - We can host and just recently host a swingers party at our house on new years eve and we probably close to 15 couples here. We love hosting fun parties :-)

Verified "Real" People - -

calling him out in an effort to ruin his ability to take full advantage of his membership on this site was wrong. He was honest with you when you spoke and now, because of some unwritten "honor code", you want to call him out by name. THAT is wrong.
We agree as well. If we wanted to be judged by the morality police we would have stayed active in the LDS Church. Anyone in this lifestyle who has the nerve to judge others should get out of the lifestyle and go back to church where you can judge others. We don't want to be judged for our sexual pursuits and we feel it's not our place to judge others, be it cheaters, bi-sexuals, transgenders members of Oprah's book club... People have to live with their own decisions and consequences and answer to their own God not our God or our morals. I am making a PERSONAL judgment call. I don't care if you call it morals, decency, or just definition. If he is cheating on his wife he is NOT being honest. If anyone in the lifestyle is having sex with a man or woman in this situation, they are not swinging, they are cheating on the persons spouse. I know some people who are ok with cheating. I know some people who are not. It is a judgment, and it is right an necessary. We each have the right AND responsibility to choose what and who we are ok doing. This isn't about being morality police, this is about being ok with yourself and who you play with.
Sorry folks, you are wrong. This is not a "who is cheating on their spouse" site. This is a swingers' website. A site designed to allow persons to have sex with other persons who are not their legal spouse. The question is, "verified REAL people". The gentleman in question, who INFORMED the young lady who started this post that he was married and cheating, was apparently VERY real. It is not up to you to call this man out as someone to stay away from. It is ENTIRELY up to you whether or not you want him to have sex with your wife, KNOWING he is married and cheating. Else, where do we draw the line? Is it up to me to send a note to the entire community if I believe your wife had a hygiene problem? Should I call her out by name in a forum and label her as someone to stay away from? I think not. The question was whether or not the guy was real...he was...and, again, probably more "real" than most of the people on this site.

Give us single guys a chance:) - - Like it or not swinging is a couples driven activity. If it weren't for couples it wouldn't be swinging it would be...well just fucking. Some couples like playing together or alone with single guys. Many do not. Single guys just need to realize that the supply far exceeds the demand and that many are not going to be open to you because they became swingers to exchange partners and BOTH partners want to experience playing with someone new. Now the fact that many couples ARE open to single ladys and not single men is another story (and sort of a double standard unless you account for the whole bisexual thing). So single guys are just going to have to accept the fact that they are in limited demand, have (in general) a bad reputation (due to the many bad apples) and have less to offer a couple than another couple does. Who ever said life was fair?

does anyone else go through periods of doubt? - as to whether this lifestyle is what they want? - This is a 'lifestyle' and there are many different types of people in it. The definition of a swinger has changed drastically and the description you provided still falls into that definition. A lot of people choose this lifestyle because of it's openness and sexual energy. You don't have to have sex with everyone you meet to be a swinger or be in the lifestyle. Selectivity is a virtue and you have the right. Most swingers rarely hook up with others until they find the 'right' situation. But that doesn't make you less of a swinger than those who do every weekend. Remember, to each his own!
