network swingers - - We had heard about this show briefly before. We think it will be very interesting but we wish they would have put it on HBO or Showtime, etc. It would probably make for a better over all experience. Utah definitely has a great bunch of swingers. I think they are more prevalent on this site because we don't have the freedom of as many clubs and meeting places that cater to the lifestyle as they have in other areas. This forces us to find our playmates using a different channel.

There are cult books out there that show how and why any human can get stuck in these logic loops, even if they weren't raised in the church they can get stuck in them. And its especially hard if it's something you were born into, your biological urges screaming at you to disobey it.
And the fact is the LDS church has given so many different commandments over the years that it is very hard to follow them all.
1) no pool tables
2) no playing cards
3) no rated r movies
4) may wear only 2 total earrings, but they can be 2 pearl.
5) only get a tattoo if you are polynesian and your cultural heritage commands you to get one
6) to be in a bishopric or higher, the only facial hair permitted is a neatly trimmed mustache above the lips only. May not go below the corners of the mouth.
7) girls have to wear pantyhose to church, naked legs are not allowed (bless that 70 - love pantyose)
You should really look into cult dynamics to understand how the human brain locks you into staying in a cult, especially if you were born & raised, and every family member is in it, and how it can happen to anyone of any intelligence level. And being in swinging might be a good way to help them learn to be more open in their respect for others. I know several swingers who got out of he LDS chuch by swinging.

nope. not a swing club. its not any louder/pricier than the majority of clubs. only quieter spots are typically the smaller type bars. it used to be that a ton of swingers attended regularly but its never been "bascially a swingers club".

Who started it? - Who/How/How long? - Before we were in the lifestyle, we went to Hedonism. Nothing happened, but it started an itch that I knew I had to scratch one day if I could convince my wife. Years later at a vanilla party with friends and being drunk, I inadvertently mentioned we went to Hedonism. Our best friends picked up on that and asked if we were swingers. To our astonishment, they told us that they were in the lifestyle and encouraged us to consider it. A few months later, the wife and I went to Sea Mountain in Palm Springs and I told her that I wanted to watch her have sex with another guy. Later that day, she introduced me to a guy and stated that he would be the guy she would have sex with. So, it happened and I loved it. I told my friend who then helped me set up a profile on a swingers website and shortly afterwards, we met another couple from it for our first couples experience. The rest is history. BTW, that initial profile has undergone 1000 revisions as our strict rules were eventually eliminated. Haha!
Rolling??? - Thoughts Comments - I'm not taking anything wrong, I just noticed this sort of strange attitude about things when i was looking at an interracial thread. People were trying to convince others that interracial relationships and swinging were morally wrong and a major health risk, and it kinda made me think. I think it's great that everyone has talked about this. A lot of people, swingers included use drugs and I think it needs to be brought up, good or bad.
