Birds of a Feather - Finding couples that share similar interests - Speaking of the Bible belt and swingers... We are in NC (by choice not birth) We are not Baptists but we know a considerable amount of swingers who are very much Baptists but play on a regular basis.... The question has been asked at after party bull sessions about religion and swinging and on several other swinging sites.... The interesting thing is that most find no conflict in swinging and their religion. So if you're lookin for Baptists in the Bible belt... Come to NC where the Baptists rule, swingers' clubs abound and baptist's never recognize their fellow baptists in the ABC store or at the club socials...

Small Town - Speak Out -
That\'s a shame. I have pictures posted, but they are in my private folder. This way I can (to a degree) manage who has access. My employement is in a field where if the wrong person ever found out I could lose my job. Richmond being a small city like it is; word of mouth and my lifestyle would never be a secret again. I\'m sure there are lots of other people that feel the same way. Heck just look at the lastest episode of Nip/Tuck where someone making a point informed a commanding officer of a bisexual within their ranks.
I use to have a private webpage meaning it was hidden so you could not find it by chance. I posted the link in a few lifestyle clubs and yes someone at my work did find out. Luckly they were just giving an FYI and warning me that a few other non-swingers knew that worked in my office. The person did not include their name so they also were afraid of fall out. Luckly nothing came of it, but I do consider myself lucky and have been more careful since.
It would be nice if none of us had anything to hide from, but sadly it\'s not the world we live in.
Age and desire - Is there a number that scares people away? - Age is nothing we have fb's anywhere from 25-52 it just depends on whether or not they can separate from Swingers and be friends too.
I mean we like to swing but sometimes we just like to hang out but we find the young'uns are a little overzealous sometimes which can be annoying so we prefer the older crowd.
Staying a couple in the lifestyle - - Our experience so far:
Religious > naturist > meet naturists/nudists who are swingers > soft swap > non-religious > full swap with couples same room > full swap separate room
Many lifestyle couples we know have followed a very similar path.
The rest of some of their evolution concerns us, especial polyamorous couples, triples, etc.
The tendency seems to be (very generalized) is to date and play separately. If the relationship becomes polyamorous, divorce seems VERY common.
We like having more than physical chemistry. Personality and interests are part of the package, but it is difficult to get an 8 way connection (chemistry between all 4 people).
We actually like the friendships more than playing, so we are comfortable where we are at the moment.
Thoughts?
For those who don’t understand the lifestyle - It’s what makes sense for you - The REALLY fucked up thing is how many people would or DO look down on swingers and swinging as something aberrant, abnormal, and disgusting, yet think people cheating and having affairs is a fairly normal part of life. It would seem that being open and upfront about your sexual desires with your spouse is somehow bad and sneaking around lying and cheating is good. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
