STDs in the lifestyle - telling people they're no big deal - Hate to say it people, but if you are scared of STD's, this is probably the worst type of hobby, ativity you can have. Condoms or not the chance of contracting something still exists. Condoms break and the other juices flying around can circumvent a condom or other forms of protection. Especially HPV which is pretty common in sexually active people. It's not life-threatening but can be for women with the increased incidence of cervical cancer. It's like a lot of the other types of non life-threatening diseases, even if they aren't, who the hell wants to deal with something that you don't have to begin with? I mean even if there are treatments available, I'd rather not have to deal with something I contracted for the mere "Want" to fuck other people. See what I'm getting at? Like ThoughtGarden said, "abstinence" is the only way you can guarantee safety. So, again if you are worried, you might want to find another hobby, or just be extra safe and have a great time. It's what we've done and haven't had any problems so far. It's that one time though that could change a lot of peoples opinion on the lifestyle and safety. I do remember reading something that stated swingers for the most part are married, and believe it or not have an incredibly low rate of STD's because they keep the swinging on the inside with other safe, married couples. So, Single guys, sorry you are carriers of many bugs! LOL. Kidding. Screen them too and ask lots of questions. I think we can all have a great time. Swing Color Bands - Swing Color Bands - I agree the wristbands are a good idea but Having so many colors is ridiculous and confusing as this site is proving.
What is everyone going to have to carry a cheat card in their pockets to remind them of what colors what.
Why not stay to the basic's: One color which just signifies you are swingers and can be worn outside the club these also can have a universal Logo of choice. Have Two clors which shows Female is BI, multicolored, and Third, tri-colored, which shows Both are Bi. That's One band with NO more then 3 colors which u can wear anywear and maybe meet new people u wouldn't have been able to do before.
Again, keep it simple and less confusing.

Dancing in SLC - - As a club promoter for many years in SLC, there are some great clubs. Depends on what type of music, atmosphere and crowd you are looking for.
Habits is a hit amongst the many on this site and is a great club I have worked with since its opening. The owner doesn't want it to be known as a swingers club, but it is the only upscale higher end club (with a dress code) where you will find very classy and sexy people. On any Fri and or Sat you will find about 20-30 couples from this site that frequent it. Music consists of the top 40 and some hip hop with some oldies (70's - 80's) thrown in the mix from time to time. They do have dinner menus.
Port-O-Call is a great one on Friday nights and you will find more of the college crowd there. Top 40 and techno. Be there before 10:00 or you will wait in line for about an hour plus. They do have dinner menus.
Area 51 is more of a Fetish type club that have many different parties. Music consists of more techno and house.
Sky Bar on the 13th floor of the RedLion downtown is a great club as well. Just talked to the owners of that club this week and they have a great crowd and many sexy and classy people they say. They also have dinner menus.
