It has been a painfull 5 days or so for all members of Swingular, and we wish to take a moment to console you for the pain. OK.. Now that the moment is over, here is what happened... As we all know, Swingular is a site that involves many people in a particular lifestyle. This lifestyle represents many \"UPs\" and \"DOWNs\", much cumming and going, a lot of flirting, a few drinks and quite often \"HARD\" times. Well the server seems to have been taking the brunt of the abuse, expected to be \"UP\" and ready to perform at a moments notice. Not by one partner, but often by several thousands of people at the same time. After several years af sexual gratification to so many people.. The servers \"HARD\" drive failed. It just didn\'t have what it took to get it \"UP\" one more time. It was drained, no more \"JUICE\" of life left in it. (The sticky substance was everywhere except where it needed to be.) Yes friends, leave it to a swing site to have HARD drive failure... To top it off, it is my estimation that someone said the wrong thing to the hard drive, for after it was replaced with a newer model, the old drive just refused to \"MOUNT\", the best I can figure is that someone, somewhere at sometime convinced the HARD drive that it wasn\'t supposed to \"SWING THAT WAY\". The vent! - Judgements, I'm so tired of them. - On judgments: My wife and I were in the lifestyle for many years. She died 5 years ago of cancer and was the love of my life. It has been very hard for me as we were married for 34 years. Many of our friends were swingers because, as others have found, those not involved in the lifestyle often have negative judgmental attitudes. We made many friends. After she died I was supported by my friends but I was no longer invited to parties. For a while that was fine because I wasn't ready. But since I've tried to renew my lifestyle activities, I've found that I am no longer welcome. Why? Because I'm a single male. Forget that my wife and I were involved in the lifestyle up in Seattle, forget the many times we hosted parties at our house, my wife's death made me a pariah to other swingers. I really do not understand this. I'm still the same person. I'm discrete, clean, disease and drug free, I'm not pushy and no always means no. I guess I do not understand why all of a sudden I'm no longer welcome at parties i used to attend. Yes, many people not in the lifestyle judge those of us who are. But a large number of people in the lifestyle are just as judgmental, only they pretend that they are not.

another club under fire - club in peoria - PEORIA -- City leaders in Peoria will soon consider an ordinance aimed at outlawing private swingers clubs where couples meet and swap partners. The ordinance is aimed at a local business called Club 307. The club sits a couple of blocks from the Police Department and is reportedly a swingers club. Mayor Jim Ardis told the (Peoria) Journal Star that the city doesn't have an ordinance preventing couples from paying to enter a club and swap partners. But he believes the city needs one. City Councilman Eric Turner thinks many people are disgusted that Peoria has such a club. Nobody answered a call to the phone number listed for the club on Friday, and there was no way to leave a message. Chameleon was one of the best in the US. I have had some spectacular times there. The owners opened a diner on the east side of the valley after their club got closed down. Even though some of the old club regulars show up there, it never turned into a pick up joint. Somehow, Discretions & Encounters both survived in Phoenix. They are both much more low brow. I think that I know who put the screws to Chameleon, but I'm not 100% sure, so I'm not going to name names. The person that I think it was, got thrown out for being too drunk & rowdy, then went on a rampage in revenge. He was a hot rod builder with a lot of attitude. The last words that I remember from him were "you mess with the bull, you get the horns". There are a few bars in town that host meet & greets for local Yahoo groups, but the crowds there tend to be a bit cliquish. There is a low key party in Havisu that is very good, but it's hard to find & hard to get an invite. Havisu in general is a good place to pick up party girls if you have a boat on the lake. Tucson has an upscale nudist resort that attracts a small amount of low key swingers. Tucson also has a honkey tonk Drink-em-up bar that is run by "god" & boasts a well equipped side room for people who are feeling frisky. Just ask "god" for the "full tour" & you will get an eyefull. West of Phoenix, there are some mud baths & hot springs that occasionally see some playful action. A little north of the city, near round valley, there are some hiking areas with swimming holes that sometimes attract frisky individuals. If you are looking for kink in Phoenix, try APEX. If you want better odds at a good swinging experience, hop a quick flight over to Vegas. It's not that far. California has even better options, but it's a bit more of a ride.
