New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - If you're looking for a model, the Scarlet Ranch in Littleton, CO is a very nice facility. Large dance floor, playrooms downstairs, nice outdoor area. A fun place to visit.

Camper talk - Swing parties in campers have you done it - We love to play with other swingers in our rv. Single males and couples.

Bitchfest here...... - - Having been in this lifestyle for quite some time, I've seen more than my share of drama. I think the most common misconception is that everyone is on the same mindset. This is not the case for most. You would think that going to a meet and greet set up on a Swinger's site would be a license to "Act" like swingers to anyone you recognize from the site in a public setting. However, I've learned quickly that because everyone responds differently, it is best to assume nothing and take nothing for granted and put on your thickest skin and expect drama. If nothing happens, and you make a connection with some one or both, then build from there and have fun. I have more fun when I go with no expectations and have them wildly exceeded, than to go full on and have the evening ruined through taking drama filled responses personal. However, I don't think that because some people may have jealousies, that they have the right to treat people rudely. I think there are many who can work on this a bit more and realize that we are all in this to have some fun.

Disappointments! - - Sorry you are having problems, a pic and better stated profile may help you. Many couples will not meet with bi males, that may be a part of it too. Either way there are many great Lifestyle clubs in your area, get out of the house and go meet the thousands of couples that are in them each week. You will not be disappointed for long. Also there are many swingers sites on the web, many are regionalized more than others. Either get more from your area to join here or add another site along with this one. Good Luck!!

Pete, The Don

Looks like you were wrong all the way around. LOL! You don't know what I am thinking, so that criticism was meaningless to me. Thank you for committing the acts you were trying to accuse me of. That was classic. I need not slander you, you are doing a great job of it. LOL!
Everyone else, please take a look at my initial response to WAAA1101. I answered their post with civility and honesty. Most of us do not want to be dictated to. The people with an issue with non-swinging threads, have the power to avoid them. None of these people have been able to dispute that fact. I challenge them with that very question... What is stopping you from avoiding threads you do not like? Instead of answering, they break the new forum rules by defaming me, calling me names and lying about me (Trashy). What I want these people to do is convince us that they are powerless to move on to things they enjoy. The majority spoke and told these people that we are going to talk about what we want to. Perhaps these few whiners need to move on now. eh? I sure as hell am not going to change my subject matter because a few people have an issue with the subject. They can move to the next thread if they do not like it. If these people wanted things to be cool in the forum, they wouldn't keep bringing it up. We heard your opinion and the majority disagreed. What more do you need? Get over it people. Sheesh LOL.

Friend collectors or swingers - - People and their life situations change. What works for them today, may not work for them six months from now. If swinging is your number one priority in life, then everything else in your life can revolve around swinging. Most of us are not swingers first, and everything revolves around the lifestyle. Where we are, in life, and what and who will be a good fit, for happy sexy adventures is going to vary. Knowing that, it’s logical to assume, that in the digital swingers world, we are all going to hear from people that are not a good fit. People that we won’t be interested in meeting in person and people that aren’t interested in meeting us. Just because someone does not follow up with some of us, does not mean they are not following up with others they have met online. Ghosting people leaves a level of uncertainty. I happens, and it is unfortunate. We have some people in our friend list who sent us a request, that we accepted, and nothing more than that has happened other than a couple of friendly emails. If for whatever reason, something about the interaction makes us uncomfortable we can, and occasionally we have, unfriend them, or block their profile. If all that stands between us is a level of inconvenience, or right now, our or their, or our mutual decision to not hook up during the pandemic, we don’t see any reason to let that bother us. It does sound like it is more difficult for younger newer couples to hit sexual pay dirt today, than it was when we started. That must be frustrating. Once we made the decision to open up our marriage, sexually, to other people, sex happened rather quickly and was available rather frequently. That does not mean we never needed to say, or sometimes hear not interested. Just checked our sent emails going back a year. We sent out a total of two friend request in the last year. We received a lot of friend request. We rejected some friend request. We accepted some friend request. Some are still in our friends list. I guess we don't fit into the category of people actively looking to collect digital friends, but we are still collecting friends.

Friendship vs. spontaneity? - Are you here to make friends or just to fuck? - The perception of this lifestyle is that there is a whole lot of sex going on between everyone. Maybe if you are young slim and trim and willing to go to bed with everyone at the drop of a hat that is true. But that pretty much describes the young anyway. If that is your perception of all swingers, and you are here in Utah, then you are bound to be disappointed. I think that this question comes up a lot because it is not a simple question for many of us and it seems to be posted by those seeking friends first. The end goal may be sex. But if that is your only goal then why do you say you are seeking friends. Friendships are not made in 30 seconds or a drink over at the pub. If that is what makes friendships in your mind then you are really just here for sex. For us it is finding friends. Some folks that we meet we will play with and some we will be just friends with. It really boils down to a 4 way vote when it comes to the bedroom and maybe even being friends in the first place. And that is what makes finding friends and bedroom partners difficult. There is always the added fear of rejection that gets in the way when you want to anything anyone. I look at all the complaints of one-nighters and couples that never speak again after sex. I can only surmise that for those folks sex is the only yard stick of friendship. You do not have to be sexually compatible to be friends. We have found that if what you are looking for is friends, then it is easy to be part of the lifestyle. If what you are looking for is based on having sex then it is easy to be disappointed and difficult to be part of the lifestyle. Furthermore we look at those that just want to screw and think how lonely their existence must be.

Do your friends and family know about your lifestyle? - - Here is our view..... Our sex life is private, what we choose to do within our sex lives is private also. We choose not to tell our family members because it is just none of their beez wax, it is personal, and private to us. Most ppl wouldn't understand it especially my family. Stitch's family, well....they probably wouldn't be shocked to hear it, but we still don't wanna share with them. We do have vanilla friends (not many though, we aren't social butterflies, we only make friends with swingers....lol) but we don't share with them our choice to swing. It's just a personal choice we have not to share. It isnt that we are ashamed or that we think this lifestyle is something to be ashamed of......we just think it is something best left between us. Just as what we do together in our own bedroom is private and personal so is our choice to swing. We are good friends with the ppl we work with, but they are all on a needta know basis, and they just don't needta know any of it. Our kids are to young right now, but as they get older we will just haveta be more careful. We dont' want them knowing about it either. There again, it just comes back to....I wouldn't share with my kids what dad and I did in our bedroom the night b4, so why would I share with them about our choice to swing. It is private and between us as a married couple.

To cover up or not to cover up - Slut shaming and the lifesyle -
Sadly there are many entirely false stereotypes about swingers that non swingers and/or newbies to the lifestyle believe. Probably the most predominant one is that someone who is a swinger (especially a woman) is more or less DTF anyone, any time, anywhere. We used to try to educate those who thought this way but often they don't want to believe the truth because it destroys their fantasy about swinging. Now we just avoid those individuals because more often than not they are the very same individuals who don't understand or listen when someone says, "No."
Well said Evil.. we have run across plenty of newbies who think this way.. the shocking look on their faces is priceless when you tell them the facts.

Messages - why don't people want to message back - 1. All the sites are crawling with fake couple profiles that are pic collectors or guys trying to cheat. 2. People here have the idea of dabbling but are not serious about it. 3. People have their ideal encounter in their head and are only looking for that exact situation. 4. People are simply lazy. They wanna push a button (like the FR one) and let you do all the work. 5. People totally content with swinging are already in an established party or meet group and have people come to them now. They are tons of fun, experienced swingers that know how to balance normal life and swinging life. So we always tell newbs there is a huge learning curve to this lifestyle. No, it’s not the sex part, we all already do that, it’s the ability to sort through the mess and find connections. Living where you do makes it even harder. Try some other sites to see if they fit better. AFF usually has a good listing in your area. Try posting up something when you have free time and see what comes your way. Don’t jump at every friend request. Our experience over 4 years is the blind ones with no message lead no where. We use the sites for first contact, then k!k (you can live pic verify there) and chat to see if it’s a match. Remember it’s a frustrating road ahead. Even after getting to full chat and meeting time, we really only meet 5% of the people we talk to, and we are super flexible and drive many miles to meet and play. Just keep at it. We are to the point now we can spot most flakes, cheaters and collectors quickly and we block and move on. When you do finally meet just be open. Network, be friends, that can lead to parties or new friends. Start looking to just meet cool fucking people and learn from there.
