Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - I don't think anyone is saying you should give single guys a try. No matter whether you motivations are insecurity, racism or just plain not turned on by it, you shouldn't feel pressured into something you're not into. However, it's not cool to come into a thread that's directed to those that are interested in them and spread intolerant messages about them, because you don't like them. In other words, it was an AB conversation C your way out. LOL!
I don't mean that directly to you AKLIM. I mean that to anyone that would make it their mission to spread intolerance of a group out of sheer spite. That kind of shit should no exist in our community. No one is asking anyone to do something they're not willing to do, but on the same token, don't get on a soap box and spread hatred of anyone, just because you don't agree.
If a single guy is at a party and you pack up and leave because you've got this preconceived notion that all single males are pigs and are just waiting for you to take a piss, so they can approach your wife, while you're away... I say this... 1) So what? Is your wife not capable of handling herself? 2) Are you not capable of saying, "Hey, Sorry man, we're not into single guys." I see that as no different that taking care of a couple you're not interested in. Quite frankly, there are far more asshole, disrespectful men in couples that we've encountered, then the single variety.
I know of a very respectful single male in the West Valley area that was a total gentleman and opens his home to couples so that they have a haven to party naked! lol.

Cruise - pricing - You guys are really bitching about paying $2000 for two people for a 7 day lifestyle takeover cruise? I heard Utah people were cheap but come on. Let's break that down per day... $285... per couple... per day... We've been many places that aren't nearly as nice as being on a cruise with 2100 swingers and paid a lot more than that for just hotel rooms. Throw in car rental and food and you're out even more.
So what if you're paying $600 more than what they charge for a regular cruise... you don't have to worry about children and you're around people you can actually have fun with. Sounds like the extra money is worth it to me. And have you ever been on ANY vacation when you fly? Add in airfare, liquor, tips and gratuities as well. You're not getting those things free on most other vacations anyways.
Did you go to SwingFest? The rooms there were $300 a night! So if you can't afford this cruise, don't knock the people who put it together, we've been waiting for something like this for a long time and they deserve to make a bit of money off this because I'm sure it wasn't easy.
And you're probably the ones who bitch about there never being any events or parties for lifestylers, then when someone puts one together, you bitch about it because they make a dollar for their efforts.
We'll be on the cruise and we'll be glad to see those who aren't cheap on there with us.
Burnt out from searching - - Keep in mind that a lot of profiles on here are entirely fabricated, or inactive. You can't trust the "Last Visit" date on their profile because swingular puts inactive profiles online to give the feel of more activity than there really is. We know this because we have an old profile on here that we abandoned a long time ago and we don't even remember the password. We see it showing up on the "Members Online" page sometimes. I can assure you, that member is NOT online.
Anybody else notice that so many of of the new members, almost always from outside of Utah, have their profile pictures posted sideways. Bots can't see when that happens, they're just populating empty fields. There are three of them showing up in the new members list as we type this.
Swingular is a Utah centric site. We moved to South Carolina for a while and we sent out maybe 100 messages to members that "were online" at the time, and never got a single response. We never got a message from any of the "active" members on our area. Nobody ever accepted a single friend request. But there were plenty of active swingers showing up on the site. Weird.

thoughts on Pictures - - I have to agree that just a genital shot for an opener is not very good. But I have also seen face shots that look like mug shots and sure are not much more interesting. Come on, this is a SWINGERS site!!! After all the object is to promote our involvement in this lifestyle. Our profile and pics are supposed to tell something about us. My wife likes to pose, and I enjoy taking her pictures. We try to use pics that show how we feel, or how we want to be precieved in the lifestyle. We get lots of feed back telling how they like her smile, or how we look like a fun couple. It makes us feel good that people enjoy what we have to share with them.
Some people have no pics at all, others have one, or just a few dull shots, or the close up genital shots. Put something into your albums, and you will get more out of this site, and maybe this lifestyle. Thats my opinion.
