Staying a couple in the lifestyle - - Our experience so far:
Religious > naturist > meet naturists/nudists who are swingers > soft swap > non-religious > full swap with couples same room > full swap separate room
Many lifestyle couples we know have followed a very similar path.
The rest of some of their evolution concerns us, especial polyamorous couples, triples, etc.
The tendency seems to be (very generalized) is to date and play separately. If the relationship becomes polyamorous, divorce seems VERY common.

Single Men Meeting Couples - Are Single Men Treated Un Fairly In The Lifestyle - Yeah, This subject has been beaten like a dead horse.
It just comes down to a few simple things.
1. If single guys doesn't get invites, they feel rejected on sites like these.
2. It's couples choice. The couple have probably talked and decided what they are looking fore before posting an ad.
3. Get over it. Yes I know from personal experience that single men aren't always looked upon in this lifestyle in the brightest of light. You can thank those that don't respect the boundries of a couple for that.
I have years of experience from going to swingers club in San Diego that did allow single men. I've witnessed the pushy single male, the "voltures" circling the carion. I would always tell the ones that would listne to me what it takes to play with a couple.

courtesy - dates and communication - When we started swinging there was no internet....not like today where it takes a few seconds to find someone you want to fuck and shoot off an email or a friend request. We had to find a magazine with ads for swingers (at an adult book store), write a letter, probably include a Polaroid pic with the letter and mail it and wait for a reply...which didn't always come. So I guess we kind of were conditioned to not really worry about it too much especially once internet swinging happened and it didn't take so much work to reach out.
