tired of the B>S> - - u know, i don't think we're validated or certified or whatever they call it here on this site. we've been on so many it's hard to keep track. anyway, we're very real and we just don't give a hoot about validations anymore. i guess u could say we've progressed thru maslow's hierarchy of needs for swingers to the self-actualized phase. that's a clever way of saying we no longer give a rat's ass what other people think. ;) we've been swingers since 2003, and we really only went to a lot of parties and sought out new experiences with regularity for the first 2 years. now it's just another "thang" we dabble in from time to time when the mood hits us...mostly on vacation, weekend getaways, and stuff like that. and we really have no ego stake in how many unsolicited emails we do or don't get from people asking us to hook up or inviting us to parties. if we get the itch, we'll look around, find something that piques our curiosity, and send them a message. it's all really no big deal. and we have found that folks who get wrapped around the axle about this stuff are not the kind of folks we want to hang out with anyway.

swingin - thought this site was a swingers site - As I've said before.... Regardless of the category one slides crap into it still stinks. Little snide remarks about people..their grammer or use of U for YOU or 4 for the word FOUR and other shortcuts used on the web elseware. Maybe this person, the original posted, may be from some other country and has a limited vocabulary and or limited grammer. We are one of the only countries that speak only one language... Try German or French or Vietnamese, Chinees, or maybe Spanish, if that is not your native language. Most people try to communicate and people understand that there are limitations. I understand that this is an open forum here, but forums on other sites have been shut down for lesser crapola than is used here. One shut down when the Gulf war started. Too much about death and opinions on the administration and the why or why not of being in a war. Then that sparked flaming, name calling and more. On this very site someone got very political and there was a call to have that one ousted. He was.. Maybe you remember him. And he used this very forum to voice his opinions..... So... Why do so many think that they are right and some others are wrong? If we voluntarily make things better... we will have a more friendly site and Forum. It's easy to say "if you don't like it don't read it", then why is this post 8 pages long????????????????? It's just that this site has become very controversal in that we love to piss on each other and on each other's thoughts... I got to page 5 and couldn't go any farther... Piss moan, counter piss and counter moan... Good boy or girl Charlie, you agree with me and we together piss on someone else... Think about it...How many times can this go on with adults who should be old enough and wise enough to know that this is a childish pursuit.... What do you think about that... Maybe this can generate another 8 or 10 pages, HUH???? Understand I may read some of it BUT I will stand on the outside and watch the pissing contests. If that makes us swingers or polyamorous, or whatever, then that's cool with us. Our label we give ourselves isn't important, nor do we care about it. We beg to differ. That label is important from certain standpoints. Now, if you meet us and tell us you are a poly couple seeking a poly relationship, we can tell you it won't go far since that is not what we want. That way, you know it isn't going anywhere fast and so do we. No need to drag it out for a while and then "I thought you...." or "I got the impression.....". If I am looking for a certain type of relationship, isn't it better to know up front and not waste anybody's time and get hurt feelings?

New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - Davidandmarie, I don't think it is a legal issue, I think it is more of an issue of not knowing for certain if the concept would fly and have enough attendance to justify the massive expense in opening one up. Herwoody801, A dance floor is something we were planning, but we would want it in a separate area so there were still areas where people could chat without loud thumping music in their ears. Wildfire, Being super private, discreet, and extremely safe is something that would be our top priority. We have no desire to have our sexuality on display for the rest of the world either. I am considering making it a private club, which it would probably have to be for legal purposes, and we would have to create some kind of vetting process where you can only become a member if you know a member who can vouch for you, type of thing. That way we can make sure that everyone who is showing up is someone who is either part of the lifestyle already or seriously considering to be part of it. The last thing we want is to have "outsiders" coming just to gawk and potentially cause problems. Additionally, cameras and cell phones would have to be left upon entrance so there would be no risk of cameras on site that could compromise the privacy of the guests. Why can't you put your face picture in your private pictures. The only people that would see it is the ones you granted access to? I am given some reasons for this from them, but most stem because of government conspiracy theories. Hoping that is not you. If you can be fooled granting access you can also be fooled sending your picture by email. I don't want to give out my email to single men or newly single men with or with out a wing woman. Assuming you are verified and I haven't checked that, but this would also insure the person you are communicating with that the picture is indeed you. Just a thought.
