You are very bold to think you alone define swinging and what the site is. This site is a place for swingers to meet on whatever level they choose. Finding people to have sex with is one of the goals, yes. Though sex will no always happen in all meetings. One of the benefits of a meeting that doesn't "click" sexually, is friendship. So, never think you can define swinging for everyone. It's different for all of us. Libertines are free of the confines of moralism, dogma or ethics. There is no definition to this. To define it, is to cheapen it. Sex does not have to result from you encounters with people. It is a benefit of a chance meeting with a couple you and your partner (if that applies), have a sexual attraction to. You and I both know that that is not always the case. Respect...Needed? or just forgotten. - - The various points that have been made are well taken.
We have been approached by people who are rude or crass. Typically it is a single male, often married pretending to be single or the de facto single male -- half of a vanilla couple pretending to be a swinging couple.
I have several observations:
This single male is far more likely to be a trial member.
They have little or no real knowledge of swinging and it shows.
They don\'t expect to be invited to join the couple or single female they approach.
They simply find a cheap thrill in the crass sexaulity of the rude note they send.
(I suspect they type them with one hand.)
If given the oportunity (which their approach itself precludes) they would not play.
Don\'t confuse them with the polite & respectful single males that are a part of swinging.
We jokingly refer to them as hard-ons. They think because they once had a hard on -- they are qualified to swing. My FAVORITES are the ones that will \"let you watch\" or \"don\'t mind if you joins in\" as if somehow by their offer alone -- Belinda becomes theirs.
You will see them at the clubs. Somehow they come up with the courage to go to a swingers club that allows single males. They are the males that hide in a corner too afraid to approach anyone or they are the males that come into the room with attitude written all over them -- as if saying \"I paid my fees -- who do I get to fuck\".
If he is found out, the male half of the vanilla couple will stamp and stammer and claim that either he has his wife\'s permission or that she is cold and he is not getting any at home. Given their approach to sex. I have figured out, at least in part, why they are not getting any at home.
I was raised by a very southern, very polite, Daughters of the Confederacy -- mother. Thus I had to endure the suffering born of numerous catillions or formal dances. Everyone knew everyone at the dances. Everyone knew that everyone was there to dance. But you went through the rituals of an introduction and small talk -- prior to dancing. While this analogy ignores the aspects of friendship that are a part of swinging. I have found that the manners I learned at my mothers knee have served me well in swinging. (Don\'t ya know that would shock the hell out of her!)
New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - The Moose is still alive and well! We talked with the new man that is now running the place last Friday night when we were there, and he has some great ideas to make the Moose better than ever! Here's a little info that we learned about the new changes, and we want to share it with everyone.:
* Friday's are now Lifestyle night. It use to be "Gay Night" (as it was always referred as), and the Lifestyle just shared the club with them. It is still open to the public; however, they are trying to get the Lifestyle to take over Friday's.
* Upstairs will still be reserved for Lifestyle guests, and will still require a wristband for access. There will be a bartender upstairs.
* The price to get in is $5.00 for Lifestyle members per person. This includes a free shot ticket and access to the upstairs. YOU MUST SPECIFY THAT YOU ARE WITH THE LIFESTYLE GROUP when paying; otherwise, you'll have to pay the $10.00 per person price that the general public will have to pay to get in.
* The dance floor will still be for everyone.
* Once a month they will have a live band on Friday nights. This will begin on this Friday night, April 13, 2018. The band this week is CHANGING LANES, and is sure to be a great performance and lots of fun! You can Google them to get an idea of their music.
* When the live band is done, there will still be a DJ playing music so the dancing and fun can continue. There will be a live DJ every week.
* One of the biggest complaints about the Moose in the past has been that it's too loud to socialize. There will be a sound man that will now control the volume of the music upstairs so that we can all talk and meet new people and actually be able to hear what each other are saying. It will still be loud enough to enjoy and dance to, so don't worry about losing the music vibe that pumps us all up! Please note, when the live band is playing, they control the volume, not the Moose personnel.
So good things are coming for the Moose Lounge, and it's up to US to make it a success! Let's get out and have some fun together this Friday night...and Every Friday night!
There are not a lot of options for the lifestyle in Utah. We can make this club our own and finally have a decent place to hang out.
Orchard Place - Event info - Ryan and Kara are top-notch hosts and the venue is by far the best in Utah for swingers. It's the closest thing we have in Utah to a swingers club -- but it's better because it's clean, comfortable, low-pressure, the music is not loud (so you can actually chat and get to know other couples), and it feels a lot like a low-key meet & greet with a little bit of a charged sexual atmosphere.
The crowd trends towards the younger side (mid-40's and below) but there are a few older folks there.
WAY better than habits.... but we hate loud music and dancing... so... ;)
Hollywood Swingers? - - Well, Jeri Ryan (Jessica Devlin on "Shark" and 7 of 9 on "Star Trek: Voyager") and her ex-husband, former Congressman Jack Ryan (R-IL) were before their divorce.
It says a lot about the descretion in the Lifestyle that a top Hollywood sex symbol and a Congressman never got outed and that it only came up in their divorce proceedings.
Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - its like this we all don't swing the same way,
we have are likes & dislikes,and if you feel its
