STD Testing - How often are you tested? - Going to open up a can of worms? That is what you get when you bring this subject up. It depends on whether we are actually swinging or not how often we get tested. If we had a test and are only sexually enjoying each other since that test we see no reason to get tested again until we decide we are going to hook up. It is nice to be able to say you have two consecutive clean tests maybe six month apart and no new partners since before the first test. Most swingers never get there exactly with six months of quarantine but we have three or maybe four times in the 9 years since we first started swinging. Which means we have taken several breaks from wanting to hook up or just not trying totaling maybe two years altogether. There have been times where for several consecutive years where we hooked up with a bunch of couples and some singles playing with someone new at least every couple of months. We try and be selective but after bouts of lots of fucking around we do feel a bit anxious waiting for test results. Last time we got tested was in June 2014 just after getting pretty freaky and we have not played with anyone since. The June test was clean. To answer your question we get tested on average about 3 times a year unless it seems unnecessary. We sometimes get tested for everything the county can test for at the county and everything they do not test for like HPV strains and HSV 1 via our physicians.

BD/SM- Why are there no groups? - - Now this IS Terry. OMG, did I unleash a monster when I put a profile on Fetlife.com for her? Just kidding, she's an angel. Even if there might be just a touch of devil, or at least imp. Anyway, that didn't work out as well as hoped, like Evil said, most fetish groups don't swing, their events aren't usually about sex, just discussions, socializing, and demonstrations, with people doing scenes with the people they're already in a BDSM relationship with. And before someone asks me "well, why don't you just ...", it's simple. She's into some things I'm not and in that life, if you aren't really into something, even if you do know what to do and how to do it, you can't really be a very good Dom. Since the guy is supposed to make the girl happy, I did the Fetlife profile for her. The first thing a new person who's interested in some BDSM group will get told is "We don't swing", that he/she isn't going to be able to go to an event or even party and hook up with someone, that even if he/she gets invited to participate in someone's scene (it does happen occasionally) it isn't likely to culminate in actual sex. Which makes it difficult for someone who wants her BDSM to be part of actual sex. One thing though, Evil. The Fifty Shades of Gray phenomenon notwithstanding, BDSM is more secretive than swinging. Anyone who finds a swing event online can attend, unless he's a single male and it's a no single males thing. Not so with BDSM. Fetlife, for example, has more than one sub-group that sponsors events. You can find the events on the site, but you can't just go to them. You have to be sponsored by someone from that group. And not everyone in the group, people who themselves have been through the process and can attend the group's events without a sponsor, can even be a sponsor. There are always specific requirements and a process of some sort to go through to become approved to sponsor new people. There's still a stronger stigma attached to BDSM than there is to swinging, and the potential consequences to being outed are more severe, especially in a place like Utah. So the people are much more cautious than are swingers, and swingers don't exactly put up billboards ads on the highway. ~ Terry

Habits tonight?? - We would love to dance -
How many of the people at habits on a given Saturday night are swingers? How do you know who to hit on? =)
That's part of the fun...always wondering and watching. We usually let the girls decide ... if there's an attraction ... we take it from there.

Is HABITS still the place to go? - - Habits: Pros: Great music, food delish, cool/friendly staff. Cons: Drinks pricey/watered down, music too loud, "dress code", popular hangout with self proclaimed elite swingers. Club 48: Pros: Drinks great, music at reasonable level, relaxed atmosphere. Cons: Food sucks, understaffed, sometimes music sucks too. Northern Exposure: Pros: Private room with private smoking area, some drinks good, music at reasonable level, music ok. Cons: Some drinks pricey/watered down and they seem to run out of their "specials" quickly, food sucks too, staff really busy (altho they are friendly).

Logan - Vasa gyms -
As to the second part of your question, we haven't actually played AT the gym since the old Sports Forum in Woods Cross was open. We used to occasionally sneak into the spin room when the gym wasn't crowded and do naughty stuff. Only once with another couple tho. [em]Emo_82[/em]
Thats hot. We should create a swingers only gym 😀!

When You're Shopping the Scene... - - Yeah, it'd be kinda cool if there actually WAS some kind of universal accessory or a signal that swingers could use to ID each other out in the vanilla world. And many have tried over the years but nothing has ever really caught on (back in the day, more than a few women wore necklaces of an apple with a bite out of it). And even if something DID actually catch on, and people wore it or whatever to identify other swingers, how long do you think it would take for the internet to make that fairly common knowledge? We went to a swinger's convention in San Diego a number of years ago. The group had taken over the entire hotel and property and nobody was allowed in without a special wristband. It took about 4 hours for most of the hotel staff to learn what those wristbands meant. By the next day, people at nearby hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers had heard the news and as you passed people they would glance at you and then immediately glance down at your wrist. By that evening, most of the swingers were becoming so self-conscious that they were attempting to hide the wristbands beneath watches and bracelets. A few even pulled them off their wrists, if they were loose enough, and then put them back on when re-entering the property. So, as nice as it would be to know for sure who other swingers are, it would kinda defeat the purpose of what many of us state in our profiles...that we're discreet. I suspect that about 10% (if even) would wear a black ring and about 90% wouldn't for fear of being outed as swingers. YMMV

Go turn on Oprah - re:swingers - It is 12:30 here in Utah and I can't find it coming up on any of my Satellite channels. Too bad we were really hoping to catch it.
