We live here. Our experience is that most couples do not hate single men. Most married men are not intimidated by the presence of single men. Most couples and singles whether super active or rarely active in the lifestyle don’t post anything in the forum section of this website. As is the case with so much on the internet, a few of us that do read or post in the forums, may give others the impression that we are a good general representation of the community’s mindset. Obviously we aren’t. What we read here is mostly just personal preferences. There are some thoughts expressed that we find interesting, sometimes enlightening. Sometimes people are just venting. It's actually a lifestyle site and swinger is one of the designations to choose from when setting up a profile. We've met and played with a lot of swingers from that site, so I'd say it's a viable option for swingers.
And to clarify, I'm not referring to their individual kinks. I'm referring to the writings on that site. We've read some deeply disturbing things on that site and if you're an active member, you know of at least a couple recent issues that gained a lot of attention.
Coming to slc area this weekend - - We agree with SLCCOUPLE. The GSL has it all. Sun, fun, the BEACH. And it's true...you CAN just like float around in it. No, I don't know of any church-of-the-wild-and-crazy-swingers. But I DO enjoy belonging to a Church that does not issue broad sweeping edicts REQUIRING certain behaviour by people so as to assure that ya'll are exactly like me. I like differences. I like differing beliefs or opinions. I like the fact that I couldn't be excommunicated for being gay for example. I can not be tossed aside because I swing nor can I toss you aside because you swing or are bisexual.
So all I'm saying is that I enjoy belonging to a Church that outwardly espouses a view that agrees with mine -- I(we) don't have all the answers so I'm not going to condemn you for where you are in your journey of self-discovery and life.
