Playboy TV's new show SWING.... - So who all caught the first episode? - We had a ton of fun doing the show and it was very unscripted. They would of course plan the games etc, but what happened, happened. Nothing was forced as far as interaction. What you DONT see on the show is the hours of sitting around and answering the newbies questions and making them understand the mindset and how we live life. In fact, they actually did a good job at minimizing the drama and making a very comfortable situation for all.
The funniest part of the show was actually the crew...they came in with a lot of pre-conceived notions about swingers and by the end of taping we had made some great friends and their minds had changed dramatically about the lifestyle and the people in it. In fact we kept joking about interviewing them and getting their feedback.

Men, oh men, where are your pics... - - Sooo agree with this!!!! We hate when we see a nice looking female, then nothing of him. As much as my wife loves me, she is never going to play with a couple until she gets to see what she can play with too so it is not an "unpleasant surprise" like the one time we rolled the dice...lol . Swingers at work... - - We ran into one of my co-workers in the hot tub of a local swing club. We never mentioned it outside of the club and didnt mention we did anything at work. We each managed it quite well, no one ever knew. I no longer work in that office and they no longer come to the club, so its not an issue any longer.
But we quickly realized that its actually not too bad (depending on the people) because they dont want to have to answer questions from the nonlifestyle people
Preconceived Ideas - - I Guess in the start of all this, or b4 we actually experienced anything in the lifestyle.....we may have had a preconception that it was all about sex, but have sensed realized that it is more for social gatherings of open minded friends. (not that sexual fun doesnt sometimes come of the open minded gathering......) We have a ton of fun at these gatherings, and now have some lifetime friends that we have a good time with no matter what we are doing. It isnt just about the sex like we first thought, and in the start we were kinda afraid that ppl who were more experienced would be pushy, or that our relationship would be disrespected, BUT that is SO far from how it actually is. There is a lot more respect given to a relationship at one of these gatherings then you can find at any other place on a saturday night, thats for sure! We would much rather hang out with swingers then anyone else....at any given time!!! Way fun people, respectful, and non judgemental.......a crowd that we perfer to hang out with!

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - What did we expect? "Couple celebrates 15 Happy Years of Swinging, story at 10."? Gotta pimp yourself for those ratings, especially when the younger generation wouldn't be caught dead turning on a television to get their news. I wouldn't call that a balanced report by ANY stretch of the imagination.
