And I could go on and on with possible headlines.
Never have I seen any positive spin put on the Lifestyle by the media. Sex and scandal makes ratings with produces ad dollars. And this fulfills both criteria in one story. Do a Google News search on swingers and see how many positive stories you come up with. I guarantee it will be 99% negative.
KSL isn't going to tell a story of how swinging can bring a couple closer and strengthen an already good relationship. They aren't going to show how 79% of swingers report their marriage as "very happy" as opposed to 64% of the general societal survey (GSS), or that only 1.7% of swingers report their marriage/relationship to have become "less happy" after starting to swing. Or that 57% of swingers list marriage as "very important" in their life as compared to 51% of the GSS. They are not going to show that swingers are slightly more likely to be part of a religious organization the the GSS (72% compared to 61%).
These are not facts that will support the sensationalist story they want to produce. They want to show wild sex orgies and broken marriages.
It doesn't matter if they agree not to show faces or not (they won't due to legal ramifications). Like xxxtasy and others have mentioned it will cause a huge spike in traffic to this and other swinger related websites by every "concerned" (read: nosey) Utahn scouring the sites for a neighbor like they're searching a sex offenders database. I guarantee there will be a spike in free members for a month or so after the segment airs. The women will want something to gossip about at relief society and the men will want to know who to hit on in their neighborhood in the chance they'll get lucky because you know... their wife isn't a freak like that and since you're a swinger you'll do anyone, anytime right? Just like in the porn movies?
And the club? Club 90 is only a "swingers club" once or twice a month. People who go there during the other 29 days in the month will recognize the decor and will be "scouting" from now on. You'll have every guy looking to get lucky going to Club 90 in the off-chance he'll meet a swinger.
I'd recommend being on your best behavior if you do attend the party. They think they are going to see flesh and dirty dancing. They need to see that these parties are not that, but just like going to any club on any given night; the difference being nobody's getting in a fight because someone looked at someone else's significant other.:p
Anyone else notice a lack of swinger hangouts? - Aside from some random dive bar, there is a lack of a real swinger hangout. - So, in the forums ive combed through for swinger hangouts. Aside from making new friends where we meet them and then invite them over for fun later (which dont get us wrong we love and will still be doing that) BUT, aside from some closed down bars and clubs swingers in slc, ogden, provo and tooele seem to be without a place to hang out. Hell ive heard little and less about even just identifying each other aside from one remark on lifestyle bracelets and more or less using swingular to meet up. So my question is there no way to just deem certain places and hangouts and wear something to identify ourselves so if other swingers are on the prowl they know were looking as well?
How Do you Find Out - Question about Friends - For the most part, DON'T ASK... There are WAY more NON-SWINGERS in the country than swingers, so your chances of your friends being swingers is slim. There are a few things that will point to swinging. Check her closet. If there is allot of club wear the chances are better. Ask about their vacations. If they mention a place like HEDO they are pretty much swingers.. If there is a couple you would like to play with you can create a fun night and when things feel right, ask if they have ever thought about swinging... Bob's Burgers... - ....Lifestyle Friendly? :P - Anyone watch Bob's Burgers? I'm in love with that show (and just about any other show its creators come up with) and find it absolutely great that they have episodes about swinging. I forget the context of the first one, but Bob and his wife were at a party and were propositioned by another couple. Last Sunday as all about Bob's in-laws who live in a retirement villa place in FL but are going to be kicked out because its for swingers only and they hadn't participated. We are also super picky and refuse to jump into an immediate sexually relationship with someone we haven’t truly meet. That may be some of the cause of this issue as well.

This has been asked here many times before... here's what it boiled down to:
1) You can't tell by looking.
2) If you really want to know, you'll have to ask them.
3) Despite the fact that maybe 5% to 10% of the people there are swingers on any given weekend, it's not a swinger club, so if you're trying to meet swingers, it's very inefficient.

Lifestyle Resorts - Which is best in your opinion? - A lot of good descriptions have been given. I don't want to rehash what has already been said, so I'll stick to a few new ones that I can add. In California, you also have Black's Beach, just below Torry Pines golf course & glider port. It's a nude beach that is physically stressful to access & generally fairly sparse with people. If you like privacy, it can be a great place. Laguna Del Sol in California is probably the single largest nudist resort in the US. Play here is mostly on the down low.
Florida's east coast has several traditional swing clubs that are close to Haulover nude beach. There is also a less traditional place called the Roof Top Resort in Lauderdale. It's a nude property where play is common. It has a pool on the roof & some play rooms as well as many overnight rooms. Deenies Hideaway is a low key on-premise place not too far from there where you can hang out by the pool or the pool table all day & all night. It's low key & frequented by moderately attractive people. It's usually not too packed. Trapeeze is an action packed club that is frequently packed & generally has a fairly pretty crowd. Miami Velvet is more of a dress to the 9's swing club. All of these are on-premise.
The west side of Florida has a large concentration of clubs in Pasco County, which claims to boast the largest per-capita quantity of nudists in the US. Some facilities are laid back hippy type places. Some are very upscale & boast a wide variety of facilities. Some have large live-in communities. None that I know of in this area have an actual beach that you can use. The one that has a fresh water beach also has signs warning of alligators. Some have very active swingers in residence. Holland has some excellent clubs, including the single best one that I have been to.
