Single Male Market - Need feedback on a feature idea. - Affirmative Action in swinging is using Race (BBC) as a Plus factor when considering a single male. [quote=massageBBCguy]Brilliant! Any Sci-Fi lovers here? - What\'s to describe? Either you like a good sci fi TV series or movie or you don\'t. - OK.... So we've mentioned Star Trek, Star Wars, StarGate, Aliens, Predator, AVP, X-MEN, Dr. Who (which I love), Heinlen, Arthur C. Clark, and a host of others... Sounds like we have a lot of Sci-Fi fans out there. So I'm sure that someone will remember a few British Sci-Fi TV shows that used puppets for the characters... Of course I'm referring to SUPERCAR, FIREBALL XL-5, CAPTAIN SCARLET and let's not forget THUNDERBIRDS...!!! Call me crazy, but I kinda' liked those shows... But then, I like anything that's SCI-FI...!!! Just in case they were not mentioned, let me just say a few that I can remember... Rocket Man, Colonel Bleep, Blake's 7, Earth vs. The Flying Saucers(classic), The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Blob (both versions), The Thing (both versions), Angry Red Planet, FORBIDDEN PLANET (Leslie Neilsen, Anne Francis & Robby the Robot), When Worlds Collide, The Day of the Triffids, Conquest of Space, Rocketship XM (Lloyd Bridges), Destination Moon, Flight to Mars, Invaders from Mars(classic), 20,000,000 Miles to Earth(George Pal), Them, Tarantula, and of course,War of the Worlds... Blade Runner, The Martian Chronicles, The Black Hole, Pitch Black, The Time Machine(both versions), THX-1138, Metropolis, Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, Ghidra, Anguilis, and the tiny girls from Monster Island... Not to mention animated sci-fi like Final Fantasy and the like... The list goes on and on... If I missed any, please someone let me know... (p.s. Hey, Wait a Minute... I thought that this was a Swingers Site... LMFAO

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - So, Heidi has been stalking this thread... Sweet, please friend us :) We can share stories about how your other "news" friends chose to partake, but not publicize. Your story portrayed a woman forced into the lifestyle. Anyone forced should get out immediately. That is just wrong. The woman "shown" was not a willing participant and was being abused. It's sad that this was not the focus. Abuse in any form is wrong. She could have just as easily been sold on craigslist to spice it up. This was a very poor excuse for journalism. Good luck with your next "story." I'm sure this site thanks you for the free publicity though. Bring in the new recruits, as long as they are adults and making their own decisions...

If you're going to blame your customer - At least remove the evidence it's your fault. - I'm the poster child for every fucking error message, connection problem and browser fuck up imaginable on my POS laptop and I don't have any problems at all. And FWIW I'm on another swing site that's MUCH more expensive than Swingular and there are just as many people complaining about these issues and more. I know a guy who does I.T. for the other swing site and it's a fucking nightmare trying to deal with every possible combination and configuration of OS, browser, server, and ISP out there. Not downplaying the problems you're having, just sayin' it's kinda like a ginormous swing party with uber hot young cuties, old fat farts, drama ridden noobs, posers, maybe a bunch of polys who don't know they aren't really swingers anymore, and about a thousand creepy single guys from Craigslist and then expecting each and every one of them to just get along famously and then play Twister on a huge Twister mat with a dude who only speaks Mandarin Chinese spinning the spinner and calling out the color and body part combos.

Those damn single men! - Where do they fit in this lifestyle? - IronHorse, We've been to lots of clubs that allow single males and frankly all we ever see is the single male floating from couple to couple, striking out time after time. Honestly, we've never seen the aggressive drunk females or couples you mention. Not saying it doesn't happen, just saying we've never witnessed it. What we've seen is near eruptions from pissed of husbands who get tired of running off the unwanted single males. Do the single males get watched more by the club operators? Undoubtedly, but those few that ruin everything bring it on themselves and, by extension, others who don't deserve it. We've had to witness countless female members of couples politely try to brush off the unwanted advances until the husband is close to blowing up. If the club is ran right, the operators step in and, yes, the single male gets bounced. But, damn, he deserved it! He not only wouldn't take no for an answer from that woman, he never got a clue from the ten before her that politely blew him off. Too many single guys think women in the lifestyle are just out looking to pick up a guy and act like they are in a singles pick-up bar. They forget those women have husbands - some of whom don't even like the fact that single guys are in the place. Others may have been actively seeking a single guy until that turd walked up, grabbed a boobie, and asked the wife to fuck him then and there. That wouldn't work in a singles bar and it ain't gonna work in a swingers club. As a friend of mine is fond of saying, that dude couldn't get laid in a whorehouse with a fistful of $100 bills! But his actions then reflect on all single guys and not just in that club. How many people leave thinking that's the normal behavior of single guys - because it was all they witnessed all night long? It sure isn't fair to single guys who are good people and it creates barriers that they then have to overcome. True story here. Last time we struck up a conversation with a single guy in a club that allowed them we found him to be friendly and fun to talk with. Nothing happened but we enjoyed talking with him. Next day I'm online and here's this guy's profile. That's funny, he told us he had just flown in from San Francisco, didn't know anyone in town, happened on the club by mistake, etc,. etc. All a lie because there's his picture, he lived in town and had for quite some time, and admitted he went to the club every Saturday There was no need for him to lie at all. So why did he feel the need to do so? Got him the same treatment we reserve for couples who spend all their time trying to impress us with the "things" they own - they get blocked and ignored.

Christain Swingers? - - I think overall Religion has a poor track record when it comes to morallity. That is one of the reasons there are so many divisions in christianity. Often, when someone wants to justify their veiw on an issue they use religious interpitation to back it, some have even started new religions or branches of their previos religion to accomidate their position. Wars have been fought , people persecuted, tortured and put to death in the name of religion, and it still occurs on this very day. I remember a statement, said to be made by Jesus Christ: "He who has not sinned cast the first stone". I think the person about to be stoned was accused of adultry. One of his close followers and friends was a prostitute. He went to the temple to tell the holier than thou, they were missing the point, and if I recall he was said to have given his sermons in the streets, and roads to anyone who wanted to listen. Karl Marx (I do not believe in Communism) refered to religion as the "opium of the people". I think he may have been on to something. I had 12yrs of religious study in Catholic grade & high school and I think rather than brain washing me it opened my eyes up to the contradictions in religion. I think you have to step away from religion to be really objective, when looking at the morality of any issue. I feel a persons faith and beliefs are a personal and individual thing. Organized religion can often pollute your judgement, if you let it. If you can step away from it and look objectively at your choices in life, you may also find there is still room for you to step back in, and find a place for yourself in its boundries, also. I think like COTA has experienced, religion has let a lot of us down in one way or another. It is up to each of us to make up our own minds, when it comes to matters of faith and morality. Personally I don't think religion should cast stones.
