Chameleon was one of the best in the US. I have had some spectacular times there. The owners opened a diner on the east side of the valley after their club got closed down. Even though some of the old club regulars show up there, it never turned into a pick up joint. Somehow, Discretions & Encounters both survived in Phoenix. They are both much more low brow. I think that I know who put the screws to Chameleon, but I'm not 100% sure, so I'm not going to name names. The person that I think it was, got thrown out for being too drunk & rowdy, then went on a rampage in revenge. He was a hot rod builder with a lot of attitude. The last words that I remember from him were "you mess with the bull, you get the horns". There are a few bars in town that host meet & greets for local Yahoo groups, but the crowds there tend to be a bit cliquish. There is a low key party in Havisu that is very good, but it's hard to find & hard to get an invite. Havisu in general is a good place to pick up party girls if you have a boat on the lake. Tucson has an upscale nudist resort that attracts a small amount of low key swingers. Tucson also has a honkey tonk Drink-em-up bar that is run by "god" & boasts a well equipped side room for people who are feeling frisky. Just ask "god" for the "full tour" & you will get an eyefull. West of Phoenix, there are some mud baths & hot springs that occasionally see some playful action. How Old Is Old - - hey blueeyes, from our perspective at least, we think you are probably right and probably wrong at the same time!!! . . . you are right about being in the minority relative to the kind words offered by most in this post, but we really believe you are also part of the vast majority of swingers who use age as a primary basis for discrimination . . . kind of a strong opinion we suppose, except that we can see at least 4 different ways anyone can pretty easily check for age discrimination providing some basis for that opinion . . . BUT, before we go into all of that, please understand that we realize that everyone is entitled to discriminate in any way they see fit . . . in fact, discrimination is not just ok, it is absolutely necessary!!! . . . you see, no one has enough time to sample from every cup (sigh!!!), so everyone has to establish discriminating criteria . . . and, for sure, we're NOT feelin' sorry for ourselves; we realize it's just part of the deal . . . there is one more thing to mention before listing ways to check for age discrimination: we think there is a pretty easy and logical answer for the OP . . . those tired of reading already, can skip to the bottom and get that opinion . . . however, we kinda hope peeps continue reading 'cause, sooner or later, age is an issue everyone will face . . . so, how does one check for age discrimination??? . . . try this: pick any population center (like slc) . . . open a bunch of profiles in that population from different age groups (say, 30's, 40's, 50's, and beyond) . . . record the number of times each profile was "recently viewed" (ya know, that little statistic conveniently provided by swingular) . . . then, simply compare the numbers for the different age groups . . . if your sample is big enough, you will see profile interest decreases with age . . . if you don't want to do the math, just talk with folks of all ages and ask them what they see . . . i know many (most???) complain like crazy about email (but somehow, everyone seems ok with tweeting, texting, facebooking, etc - - - hmmm???) . . . and, shit, there is always face-to-face (omg!!!) . . . so anywho, find an acceptable way to communicate, just ask, and keep track of what people say . . . we've done that to some extent, without any surprises . . . Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - Attraction is just that... attraction. Age is just one of many factors that has the ability to blow my skirt up :) I think society gets a little hung up on it. I was out and about recently with a much younger guy and the looks I got ranged from amused to downright pissed off. I was actually a bit shocked that people even cared. My issue with seeing much younger men is that their range of experience is limited. Now I'm not just talking sexually, but life experiences. So when you crawl out from under the sheets, what do you have to talk about? That is an issue. I enjoy conversation, debate and people who actually 'get it', yanno? In bed.. well they are typically sexual dynamos..woo hoo! Older men...well they have their issues too. I find that a few have had difficulty with relationship/play/dating/romance stuff. Their heads are stuck in good girl/bad girl issues and so I either get treated like a total slut/whore or a princess. It's strange. Skill level here can be amazing and while they typically don't have the dynamo factor, they have stamina and MAD skills... woo hoo! Women are great at any age. I find I always have something to talk about with them. Sexually speaking... well, women speak a very similar language and most are sexually intuitive.
