Mexico! Come with us!!! :) - Trying to put together a group of Swingers to go to Mexico with us! - I will have a better idea on prices once I know how many people are interested.It's looking like Spring is a little more expensive than when we went this October but with a big group the price will be lower. Discussion brought about by the marajuana topic - - **YAWN** I'm with Highway on this one...there are plenty of ways to kill oneself. There are plenty of things the general "law-abiding" public does in their cars and homes that put themselves and others in danger. Have to wonder which demographic group will be next after having ridded our communities of the dregs of society by outlawing tobacco and alcohol (the insidious pot-heads have already been dealt with after all)? How about the fat people? They live an unhealthy lifestyle, and certainly provide a burden on society with obesity related issues. Attribute the rise in Type 2 Diabetes, heart disease, increase in cancer (yes cancer...in individuals who have never smoked and have otherwise lived a good "christian" life) to the convenient and unhealthy lifestyles full of decadence and complacency we lead (Hmm...I know there was a reference to the Roman empire somewhere earlier in this thread). Once the fat peeps are incarcerated...who shall shoulder the burden and blame for many of the ills in our society? There are always going to be special interest target groups in our society, whether they be pot-heads, crack-heads, fatties, adrenaline junkies, speeders, cell-phoning-while-driving idiots, swingers...well you get the point. We may forget to look at WHY things are made illegal, maybe that's on purpose...because when you think about it...the reasons for WHY they are do not make sense. It couldn't be merely for personal safety and health reasons...because if that were the case, then certainly excessive food, and cell phones would be made illegal. I'm with TR on the too much government intrusion scene; We are the so-called "most free" country on the planet...yet we have the most laws and government intrusion and incarcerated percentage of the population. To message first or not - Do you reach out first? - We respond to inquiries far more often then we make the first contact. When we were younger we got a lot more inquiries and we also made more first contacts . We used to play almost weekly, and sometimes two or three times a week. We attended more meet and greets too. As we have aged we get fewer inquiries. We are probably not within the age parameters, that most swingers are looking for. We also have very little free time. So really it kind of works out. We have discovered that now that are kids are all grown and married etc., that almost all of our social time is family related. Its a good thing! What it has done is eliminate us from the hit most of the events crowd or the hang out twice every weekend crowd. We just can't live up to that. It's not out of obligation it's a choice. We spent far more energy and emotion as parents than we have in the swing scene. So for us spontaneity and flexibility are really key elements. We can't spend much time swinging, but we will make worth someone's time when we do hook up. For us primetime swing time was at the point in life when the kids were old enough to not need a babysitter, they needed a lot of time to hang out with friends and needed a bit of autonomy too. We could go out, while they were out playing with their friends, and play with our friends. Now that they are all real adults, happy and successful, they want to hang out. We enjoy each others company, and for us family really is paramount. We were not swingers when they were young. We really didn't have time for it. Now that our kids are adults, and are doing what we did with family, and we are involved and enjoying it, what and who fits in the lifestyle has changed up a bit. In the end, if you remain true to yourselves, and each other, you'll run into the right people, at the right times in your life.

Christain Swingers? - - If your interpretation of the scriptures is very literal, then the answer is of course that swinging and christianity can not co exsist. I am not a believer in the INSTITUTION of Christianity as a whole, I do not beleive that ANYBODY who has taken the time to educate themselves about the origins of Christianity (particularly the Roman Catholic Church) and organized religeon (sp?) could be a true believer, however that in no way means that I do not believe in GOD. In both of our opinions, swinging is morally fine as long as both partners agree on the context, the rules, and always respect one another. There are plenty of people online right now seeking single males. Granted they are the minority, but from my locale, the search brought a 20-30% return per page, for those seeking single males. Again, it's not up to you or I to dictate what it sexually acceptable for everyone else. If that were the case swinging should be outlawed because we sure as hell are not the majority compared to the rest of the country. -D- My point was that they are the minority not that there are tons and tons of people looking for single males.
