LDS Swingers Survey - Will any former/active LDS swingers take my survey? - I would be really interested in the answers from current, active, attending, members. I can imagine that once you've recognized the need to break your relationship with the church its a lot easier to swing. Those that still embrace the gospel, attend meetings, hold positions, etc., and want to be in the lifestyle as well would have to have a tough time resolving those conflicts, I would think.
Adult Vacation Recomendations - We need some help what to do or where to go! - We just did one of the swingers takeover cruises and can't say enough good about the value for the money we spent... (3,800 swingers on one ship... it was the funnest week of our lives).
Be cautious of the cruises that are "partial swingers" cruises (meaning, a group of swingers got together and decided to go on a vanilla cruise). You can only "play" in your tiny stateroom, there are going to be tons of kids, and all of the activities are "family friend". On a real swingers cruise, you can be completely naked as much as you want, and all of the activities and themes are *EXTREMELY* adult oriented.
Florida swinging - Swinging in Florida - The halloween party was way better then we ever expected so time to chat was at a minumum. The little we did get to chat about this subject seems that most were afraid of all the fakes out there. That explains why we have couples traveling from as far as Plant City to come here. One of our friends took it upon themselves to buy small toys to give to the women at the party so we were going to do one of the chinese gift exchanges where you draw numbers but the action got so hot and heavy so fast that we all forgot about the wrapped toys and I am looking at them as I write this. Other friends are hosting the Christmas Party so we will bring those with us to that party.
I used to think it was that couples here are looking for what you can give them or a free night out but what it seems like at least with our friends is just the right environment to let loose and have fun. We have tons of food left and the wrapped toys so they didn`t come for the handouts. It took us a while to get the right mix and we always seek to add to the mix. People in general are half-baked critters. The hookup scene tends to silently give desperation a pass, which brings out some odd folk.

It's not extremely common, but it happens, and ties into the the desperation remark above. Especially once you're in the mix with people in their late 30's. Shit's no fun at all.

This isn't my first rodeo. I did the majority of screening when rolling as a couple for several years. There are "off" people in the scene, but word spread fast. Whether they are unstable as a couple, or unstable as a person, they tend to burn out and fade out pretty quickly in my experience.
Sexual incompatibility happens, sure, but the odds are good it won't be a first encounter. Friends first (chat friends at the very least) is how I like things.

Please refer to the above. :) It's not necessarily a matter of being more trustworthy. There are plenty of scummy, dishonest, and dangerous swingers. However, the traditionally encouraged rules and boundaries that (what I'm assuming is) the majority of the community acknowledges tend to oust em pretty quickly.
