Oprah show on Swingers - - Yes, after doing more research on Oprah's web site it is a re-run called "Secret Sex in the Suburbs" that aired in the late 2004. It will air again on Friday the 30th of June for those who care to see it.
Playboy TV's new show SWING.... - So who all caught the first episode? - We had a ton of fun doing the show and it was very unscripted. They would of course plan the games etc, but what happened, happened. Nothing was forced as far as interaction. What you DONT see on the show is the hours of sitting around and answering the newbies questions and making them understand the mindset and how we live life. In fact, they actually did a good job at minimizing the drama and making a very comfortable situation for all.
The funniest part of the show was actually the crew...they came in with a lot of pre-conceived notions about swingers and by the end of taping we had made some great friends and their minds had changed dramatically about the lifestyle and the people in it. In fact we kept joking about interviewing them and getting their feedback.
Kudos to PBOYTV for showing our lifestyle in a very positive light.!

Here is my best attempt at honest feedback.
1 - I’m not sure how thick the swingular population is in KS. You probably lose the majority of your bites right there. Nothing you can do about that one.
2 - Main profile pic has sunglasses and a hat. I can’t see the rest of your pics, but somewhere in there you should let people see you.
3 - Main profile pic is in a camper? This doesn’t scream “hey couple out there, I’m clean, we’ll groomed, fun to talk to and good in bed”. It seems more like it would be at home on CL with the title “40 something white male needs hunting buddy”
4 - Your profile text is light, and refers mostly to “dude” things; drinking, cigars, wild times. As with point 3, if your looking to get a hunting buddy good things to list. I don’t think I know a single woman that would consider cigars foreplay.
5 - Attracting the fairer sex always requires effort. Just because this is a “swingers” site doesn’t mean all of the otherwise applicable rules of attraction are not still in effect. In fact some may say this is a “couples dating” site. You still have to stand out. Get a nice shirt and a haircut and snap a pic of that beautiful smile of yours.

Long term girlfriend - New to all this and curious - Yeah is called being a poly couple.
We are currently on a long term relationship with a girl but she is not close to us atm (She's in Spain). We will reunite with her permanently next year.

The best thing we can tell you is to talk to girls anywhere you can find them, keep in mind that this site is the least likely to produce any results. Be honest with the ladies but don't press the poly agenda too hard nor too soon otherwise she may get scared. Safe Sex - How do you (or don't you) protect yourselves? - We now have the rule that we always use condoms. And we are still shopping around for the best ones that work for hubby. He would prefer not having to use them but not enough that he is going to stop. (Side Note: red condoms can have a BAD visual connotation for some guys)
I admit that when we started out we didn\'t use them the first couple of times we played. We then discovered that the first couple we played with doesn\'t use them at all. They had some of the same arguments I\'ve seen posted here. The fact that STD\'s can be transmitted via oral sex, condoms don\'t feel right, etc. I can see those points. But then we found out that they don\'t get tested at all and he picks up random chicks while traveling (with wife\'s knowledge and permision) I think that is the point that makes me the most uncomfortable. Most of the swingers we have met so far are very aware of STD\'s and take some precautions such as getting tested, condoms, etc. But I have seen the statistics on STD\'s in single sexually active people and it\'s like 1 in 4 and most don\'t know they are infected. So he is playing russian roulette in my opinion. We didn\'t know all this before we played with them.
So I guess the moral of the story is to talk with potential partners and ask questions!! For us newbies, it may be awkward and feel like you are being crass, nosy, or killing the spark, but the other couple should be willing to at least discuss it or maybe they aren\'t right for you!!
