feedback - - I'm with RIPIN22 on this one. We came to this website to meet people who are as open minded as we are. We live by the phrase "To each his own" Not always do we agree to someones opinion or preferrence but we respect their freewill to have that opinion or preferrence. We are not "hard" swingers and can be at times particular who we'll jump into bed with, but at least we reserve the right to tell someone that they are just not for us. Isn't that what this lifestyle is all about in the first place. I realize not alot of couples are into single guys, but should they be punished for that? We have brought our longtime 'friend' to the meet and greets and have been thanked for introducing him and for the insight that he has brought to the group as a single guy. How to add an event? - Looking into adding an event. - A friend of ours is operating a local club and wants to promote a swingers night. We were asked if we could potentially help with this. We'd like to create an event on the events page. But I'm not sure how. I'm assuming there is some additional verification that has to take place first? Also i know many events seem to be restricted to couples and single females, is it a bad idea to open events up to everyone? This would be a semi public venue so it would be difficult to restrict attendees.

STD testing and physicians - who and where - The Utah Aids Foundation in Sugarhouse does walk in testing Mondays and Thursdays. They test for HIV (rapid results, you get them before you leave the clinic), and chlamydia and gonorrhea for free. The chlamydia/gonorrhea are just urine for the free tests, and since they are localized infections, paying for the self collect oral/anal tests are worth it as well ($25/each), as people frequently have those without realizing and while testing clean with their urine tests. My one complaint with there is that they take a while to get results (about a week) and I felt a little talked down to when they pull you into a room to talk about safe sex and using condoms; however, that is a small price to pay for the service you are getting. While, as swingers, those are the two big ones to worry about, it is worth also going to your family physician to get tested for a full panel every few months (I do every 6/8 months for the full panel), since they aren't as common but can still affect people. If you need something quickly and want to avoid paying too much, the best experience I have had is actually at the Salt Lake County Health Department near downtown (http://slco.org/health/std-clinic/testing-treatment/). They charge per test, and they are the least judgmental and most sex-positive place I've found. Have you ever.... - - Have we ever? Nope. For the simple reason that we think it's a little bit unfair. Especially when we're somewhere where alcohol is being consumed and there is a chance that the person we're picking up isn't making a fully sober, informed decision. Now if we were to meet someone, identify ourselves as swingers, and then that person or persons goes home and thinks about it and THEN contacts us to tell us they are interested in knowing or doing more then hell yes, game on! If someone wants to explore it alone or especially with their significant other then they deserve to do it on their own terms without undue influence by other people (and by booze or drugs).
