The problem is you need to have your meet ups scheduled before arriving as it's almost impossible to sort the LS from the vanilla on site. Risqué Soiree held an event in Lava last spring that was very fun and well attended, we hope they do it again this year. It was a great event for those new to the LS or anyone wanting to meet friends. Also because it involved both Idaho and Utah there was a lot more interaction than many meet ups where people have a tendency to group up with those they already know. Lava is one of those places you will either fall in love with and visit often, or visit once to say you have been there and done that and never return. But one thing I can promise, and that is if your room is in Pocatello you'll never understand the nuances that make Lava so charming to many. If you want big fancy hotels and everything about your visit orchestrated you would be much better advised to spend your vacation in Vegas as you will not be happy in Lava. Party Group for Non-Redheads - Wouldn't such a group without such flaws be great? - {Warning...this is a goofy parody, not to be taken seriously!!! Warning for the seriousness police!! We've been in this lifestyle awhile, have attended some parties and would like to throw a question out there for debate. Not to get anyone's panties all in a wad by golly, just as a debate of general interest. Yeah, a debate for fun. I like to party with only those folks that I find extremely attractive--you know, those folks that look like me. To that end, I was wondering what you folks thought about starting a group where only non-redheads are invited? Mind you, I've nothing against those redheaded swingers out there, I'm sure they're fine folks. It's just that I find tanned bodies to be much healthier appearing and, lets be honest, redheads don't tan -- they burn. And when we have beach parties it really pains me to see all these redheads slathering on tanning solution yet still burning. Ouch, I can just do without that vision. I feel bad for them, I have great sympathy for their condition. Plus, redheads tend to have lots of freckles. I'm sure that SOME people find freckles to be attractive, just not me. There's nothing wrong with freckles though, I guess. What do you all think? Should we create such a party group to exclude these freckled folk so that we don't all have to play Rorschach games trying to decipher if all those freckles connected represent anything? Oh sure, I could have just created a group or a party event and simply stated my preferences and given information as to how to join my group or party and how to prove to me that you're not a redhead. Something to consider - No means no online too. - Our experience has been that they will be even MORE "pushy in the flesh". People who don't take rejection well, no matter how gently or politely it's offered, are a HUGE red flag to us and we will go far out of our way to avoid interacting with them in any way. In the past we grudgingly accepted a few offers to meet someone who repeatedly requested it despite our better judgement and almost immediately regretted it. We now simply ignore repeated Friend Requests from people who we've responded to previously or those who don't take the time to read our profile (okay at least skim it) and know what our preferences are. Almost invariably these repeated FR's are just spammed out anyway. We have yet to meet anyone in person at, say, a party and have them take issue with the fact that we declined a previous offer to meet or didn't respond to their repeated emails. Assholes are assholes no matter whether they're swingers or not.

One should always remember dont go to the club to find a party bring the party with you , and if you go looking for the party dont knock what others are doing. Tastbuds is not a BYOB club well drinks $3.00 each top $6.00 each and a low cover always. It is also directly located in a Hotel with room rates most nights for club members of $43.00 plus tax. No it is not a five star Hotel 1 to 10 it is a 7 some may score higher some lowere but the rooms are fair. Large dance area and seperate bar with pool table. As for the DJ we like to add you cant put 200 swingers in the same club and have them all like the same music . For the record most of the time we wanna hear other stuff and also dont like everything to be mixed all the time but we have sat back a few times and wanted to complaine but the dance floor was packed was hard to get our point out when such a large number of guest were enjoying the tunes. We think any club will have some clicks their are so manny diferant types of people in the life.We have tryed our best to be open and friendly even when others were not so nice back. In light of losing our hotel for parties after last year’s debacle. The bar will cater to us and they have made arrangements for us to get a block of rooms at 55$ a night the only drawback is Saturday nights they host Hispanic dances there so we booked a Friday night to see how things work out. This is also a cash only bar, knowing ahead of time will keep issues from transpiring. This is really a trial run to see if it is feasible for future events, the more the merrier. When making reservations please tell the front desk it is for the party on the 24th in “The Golden Nugget” there are 10 rooms set aside but more can be added to the promotion we are getting. The bar managers set everything up for us they are very willing to work with us and yes they know what kind to parties we will be having.
