Amusing Story about bad planning - Notice nobody asked the swinger\'s opinions - If I may interject something here with regard to the Orlando swingers\' New Year\'s Eve party. Several people have lambasted the \"parents\" of the children exposed to the swingers\' activities. I\'d like to take a different approach. Don\'t \"swingers\" have any common sense? For starters, the writer of the piece didn\'t make it clear whether the parents were or weren\'t with the children during the time of the exposure. Based on an \"adult\" reporting the incident(s) to hotel management though (Mr. Young, I believe), I\'ll take it that there might have been at least one situation where the parents were with the children. Besides, it doesn\'t say the the kids were out late at night. It doesn\'t make any specific statement about when the incident(s) took place. It does say that the swingers did their activities \"in front\" of the children. Didn\'t they have the common sense to notice youngens around and be discrete? Didn\'t the hotel management have enough sense to realize that swingers would probably be exposing themselves and therefore cover up the glass surrounding the ballroom where the majority of the event took place? And didn\'t the swingers\' group organizers have any sense to address those issues before, or even during, the event to make sure that anyone (child or adult) who doesn\'t want to \"participate\" in their enjoyment wouldn\'t have to be exposed to it (no pun intended, but hey!)? On the other hand, shouldn\'t a parent feel in a high level hotel like a Crowne Plaza that their kid could safely go down to the lobby vending machine (or whatever) without having to monitor their every movement? Doesn\'t that instill a sense of maturity in an age group (around 13 I think I recall from the story) that is virtually moments away from \"adulthood\"? From this perspective, there\'s plenty of blame to go around, except for the kids. Something else needs to be said here which is how people \"read into\" news coverage. It was quite interesting to see comments about the \"impression\" that the article made regardless of what it did or didn\'t actually say.

KSL swing story - - The story was terribley produced. Little to no research. As I said in the thread leading up to KSL being at the Club 90 party, they decided what story they were going to write before they even put pen to paper, and they were not going to let the truth get in the way of their story. I particularily liked the way it played women to be victims in the Lifestyle, especially when everyone knows it is women that really run the show and have the biggest say-so in who a couple plays with. Also, in surveys of swingers when asked "Who's idea was it to start swinging?" 34% of the time it was the wife that first brought it up. Sure, men still accounted for 54% of the survey (the rest couldn't remember who's idea it was originally), but it's not the men wanting sex with other women and drawing their poor defenseless wife into the lurid underground world of wife swapping to do it. Hell, anyone who's been around it for a while knows it's more "husband swapping" anyway. :p I've been following the comments on KSL's website, and these people have no life. They wait to watch the news every night and then add their two cents to every subject. None of them have any idea what they are talking about. As Ozzie Guillen says about arm chair coaches and sportscasters "the farther you sit from the plate the smarter you think you are." LMAO But all the comments are along the same lines, the evil cheating husband luring his innocent, unsuspecting wife into the seedy underworld. Then you get the fake profile they put up and within "six days, 70 married men, most from Utah, ask to start a fling." LMAO Damn, how many couples get emails every day from "free member" married men looking to cheat? We get at least one a day. The same old story over and over: Married Mormon family man who says "I love my wife but she doesn't like sex". These people need to look within themselves. We're not the problem, they are. Plus, most of us won't play with cheaters and after a time we've become very adept at sniffing them out. My wife gets at least one married Mormon man a day sending her an IM on her personal Yahoo! Messenger ID, and they find her in the Yahoo! directory (not Yahoo! Personals, the directory). They just go through looking for women online to contact. They don't know she is a swinger. Her Yahoo! profile is innocent as can be. If they are going to cheat they will find a way, with or without swingers. Wow... age versus pics - - We have always had pics with our profiles, and we don't mind letting people see who we are. We've never had any problems yet. We figure if someone sees us on a swingers website, they must be there for the same reasons we are, or they wouldn't be looking in the first place. Female sex fantasies. - What do women really think about sex? - I was just going thru a few e-books that I've had on my device for quite a while and never quite got around to reading. One of them is the infamous "My Secret Garden" written, I believe, in the '70's by Nancy Friday and purportedly a compilation of common female sex fantasies and possibly how they may have originated in the female mind. How did you meet your mate? - - Chrissy and I first "met" in a Yahoo chatroom that we were both members of. We were both with others at the time, but, that soon changed. We first actually met at a Meet & Greet in Scranton, PA in August 2004. She had her boyfriend, and I was there with someone, but, I was instantly attracted to her. I then hosted a Meet & Greet in Bensalem (Philadelphia), PA in October 2004. We had about 50 people attend, and Chrissy was there alone, and so was I. We went to a diner for breakfast after the M&G, and got chatty. After the party, we contacted one another daily thru IM, and that Thursday, we agreed to a date. I drove from Newark, NJ to Philadelphia to take her to a local bar, where there was Karaoke. She is an awesome singer! We stayed at the bar until closing, shared some intimate moments, and I took her home. I drove 70 miles back home, arriving at 4 a.m. I slept one hour, and went to work. After work that Friday, I again drove down to her in Philly, and brought her back to Easton, PA, where I lived, and we attended a M&G in Allentown that Saturday. We let the group know we were a couple, and the rest is history. We have been together since, and Chrissy moved in with me in January 2005. We now reside in Northeast Philadelphia since February, and marriage is on the horizon! We are no longer active in that chatroom, but, we still go to M&G's, although now they are thru sites like this! We are very happy together, and we love the swinging lifestyle.
