IT is fairly contagious. Enough that the experts recommend changing towels in the bathroom often if someone in the family has HSV 1. So if a couple got married without many kissing partners when they were young and have been married for 25 years the 80% does not apply. The testing reliability is a problem because of cross counts between HSV 1 & 2 or some technical thing I dont feel like quoting right now. But some positives might be negative however a negative is good new from what I have read. As far as swingers not playing because they have a tingle in their lip. If you like privacy, it can be a great place. Laguna Del Sol in California is probably the single largest nudist resort in the US. Play here is mostly on the down low. Florida's east coast has several traditional swing clubs that are close to Haulover nude beach. There is also a less traditional place called the Roof Top Resort in Lauderdale. It's a nude property where play is common. It has a pool on the roof & some play rooms as well as many overnight rooms. Deenies Hideaway is a low key on-premise place not too far from there where you can hang out by the pool or the pool table all day & all night. It's low key & frequented by moderately attractive people. It's usually not too packed. Trapeeze is an action packed club that is frequently packed & generally has a fairly pretty crowd. Miami Velvet is more of a dress to the 9's swing club. All of these are on-premise. The west side of Florida has a large concentration of clubs in Pasco County, which claims to boast the largest per-capita quantity of nudists in the US. Some facilities are laid back hippy type places. Some are very upscale & boast a wide variety of facilities. Some have large live-in communities. None that I know of in this area have an actual beach that you can use. The one that has a fresh water beach also has signs warning of alligators. Some have very active swingers in residence. Are swingsites next? - - It seems that the theocratic power structure keeps trying to create a community exclusive to their vision of Zion through the acquisition of real estate. City Creek being their latest venture. It never really works, since fair housing laws make it impossible for anyone to completely eliminate people from buying property not of their faith. Certain communities do seem to gravitate toward certain neighborhoods. Once hipsters, for example start to move into a low price neighborhood, little by little businesses start to arrive that cater to their taste. The thought is that once you start to see the night life, or even the lack thereof, start to reflect certain taste in a neighborhood, then the property becomes more desirable to people who share the same taste. If the people the neighborhood attracts have money to spend the property values go up. I don't know. If swingers started to buy properties in a particular neighborhood, in numbers sufficient, that it affected the community's cash flow, then would it be possible, that the local cafes, coffee shops, bars and such might not all become somewhat swinger friendly without really say it? I know that I have been asked by gay men in a coffee shop, and in the Smith's in the 9th and 9th neighborhood of Salt Lake City if I am gay, and the gentlemen never seem at all worried about asking the question, nor offended when I tell them I am not. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit friendlier to the LGBT community than much of the rest of the city. I don't think a question like that is always a pick up line, but it is a valid question as a point of reference. Why shouldn't someone be able to ask a question like that? If the LGBT community has some areas of town, that are somewhat more of a comfortable safe space, then why not the non-monogamous? Is that happening anywhere?

Single male in this lifestyle.. - I have questions for couples and single females. - Heya Josh. These are all extremely well thought out responses. Take them to heart. I'd also like to add that quite a few couples opt to have the man from a friendly, familiar, and secure couple fill the role of the second man from time to time. Most of the people here have healthy, loving, and established lives with someone they trust deeply. The less in-roads for unstable elements, the better. Don't take it personally. When I was active as part of a couple screening all the single men was a chore. There is an unfortunately well-deserved stigma tied to single men in this scene. Many figure that swingers are an easy lay and end up simply being a nuisance, or worse, a creep or downright menace. Disrespect and deception abound. That's not a personal knock as I don't know ya. Be smart. Be respectful. Don't fret if you're not a hot commodity. It's the nature of the scene.

Wannabes and net fakes - Will the real lifestyle members please stand up - Plenty of "real" swingers get labeled as fakes every day. Plenty of fake swingers, get mistaken for "real" ones just as often. That phrase should not be subjective to whether or not someone stood you up, faked a profile, or used old pics, just to name a few negative things. Those people are simply assholes. Even if they fancy themselves swingers. It has happened to us on many occassions that someone has claimed to have seen one of her pics either in a mag, or on a paid porn site, which automatically makes us "fakes". We have been labled as "fakes" based on the fact that we choose not to (primarily) meet with couples, thus we must be fake. We have been accused of being "fakes" because we are selective about with whom we meet, and even more selective about with whom we play. NO fakes here. Just smart people who know what we are looking for. People who have an axe to grind are typically the first to call out "fakes" on sites like these. I may not have the benefit of 25 years of swinging to support that supposition, but it is what is obvious to me. I am sure that there are a great many "fakes" out there who are only interested in wasting other peoples time with their bullshit, and believe me when I say that we have met one or two over the years...but I wouldnt automatically brand someone a "fake" based on the fact that they didnt show up for a meeting. (That is not to say that we would excuse that behavior, because if someone stands us up they had better be dead or we are done with them for good.) But who knows..maybe they just got cold feet?
