I don't think you can generalize people by locale. Political position also has nothing to do with tact. Both Dems and Reps can "mud sling" and both can be vulgar. You can't say that all southern people are well-mannered and cordial, after all they still have the highest levels of open racism in their states, to include forms of self-imposed segregation. We know first hand, we moved from the south to Utah. A year in the South Carolina (An Uber Republican State), we saw racism, like we've never seen it. Does that mean all Southern people are ignorant racists??? No, just as it means that not all are good well mannered, polite individuals. The same applies to the more liberal states. Locale has absolutely nothing to do with it. Thinking like that... generalizing... sterotyping is what breeds hate and intolerance.
Using these forums as an example; most people that claim that they are above the mud slinging, name calling or other social taboos, are a regular source of it. They are the first to critisize everyone they interact with, yet pull no punches and often hypocritically violate the rules they try to impose on everyone. I've learned that there are a lot of people here that like to dictate to others what swinging and social interaction should be, yet they do not wish to be generalized or categorized within those confines.
Regarding the subject of this thread... I think that if you have an attractive quality a "draw" and there is someone available that is draw to said quality, then you will be successful. We all have factors which attract or repel others. Unfortunately, sometimes this is age. Just as it maybe financial means, material possessions, breast implants, flawless skin, sense of humor or a million other things... We just have to keep our bait out their and someone will bite.

couples more [oft ] ask for couples or single females. why is th - - We havent had a lot of experience with single males or single females....or 3somes all together, really......however, the one time that we did show interest in a single male for my pleasure (Mrs. Stitch typen) we had a really bad experience in finding one that was honest with why he was in this lifestyle all together. When we found a male we were interested in and we met up for some fun...the fun happened and after we found out the truth of his reality...and that was that his WIFE didnt put out at all, and he was really a married man with 3 small children looken for sex without strings. NOw the "sex without strings" thing is not what bothered me, however, the wife and 3 small children thing bothered me a great deal for very long time after that night. We (hubby and I) were both really upset by it, and wasnt looken for an experience that contributed to someone getting really hurt, and lied to. Sad thing is, we still see him lingering on the websites for swingers and being quite active in the lifestyle.
I realize that just the bad actions of one single male doesnt mean that all single males are the same.....we also realize that there are probably some single women that are also cheating as well. After that bad experience we both decided that if we wanted a 3some experience it would have to be with ppl that we knew and trusted and really knew their life story. We decided that we wanted to just meet some fun couples and stick with married, stable couples that are looking for the same fun as we are.
We dont ever want to contribute to breaking up a marriage and hurting someone else, we just want to have fun!!!

There's a bar hop swinger party in downtown Fort Myers tonight. A lifestyle pool party in the Cape tomorrow. And there's a nude raft up party on Sunday in Sanibel Bay, which usually attracts 150-200 swingers.

You can absolutely go to a resort and "watch". When we went to Hedo we were shocked at how many total newbies were there (outnumbered the seasoned swingers 2 to 1...but that could have been an anomaly for all we know). But we also saw more than a few inexperienced couples who caused some drama because they got there, got all hot and bothered, and weren't ready for the consequences (and weren't on the same page as far as the "what if's" of jumping into the lifestyle). YMMV

We did speak up when we first came on this site. We even paid for the lifetime membership. As you can see we still come in here and look around ( hope runs deep). We've tried contacting people who post profiles in our area. We just haven't had any luck, and haven't seen hardly any people, from this area, posting in here. Although I do have to say that it does seem that people in this area are a bit on the shy (sand bagging) side. Most won't even post pictures.
I do have to give credit to the Carolinas though. Not only do they have a good amount of swingers there, most are darn sexy if you ask me. I'd vote for the Carolinas as being the Utah of the east coast. Sorry Fla. they just seem a little more vocal in here.
But I still stand behind what I said about the 2 month, new account, freebie cards.

Honestly there are a TON of swingers here.... if you apply the term broadly and include polygamists....and maybe some Mormons... and a few illegal....er undocumented workers. Just watch the HBO series "Big Love" and it will answer all your questions. Utah is a TOTAL bargain for swingers since you usually get 3 or 4 for the price of one. Where else can you invite a couple to swing and have an extra 2 or 3 single females at the "party"? But don't tell anyone cause we want to keep all those hot chicks with braids, gingham dress and hairy armpits to OURSELVES!!!!
