I need a room! - Do you have a room for rent? - Off subject, just a bit, but has anyone every considered renting a room out to swingers on a month by month basis, as a play room? We live here. Our experience is that most couples do not hate single men. Most married men are not intimidated by the presence of single men. Most couples and singles whether super active or rarely active in the lifestyle don’t post anything in the forum section of this website. As is the case with so much on the internet, a few of us that do read or post in the forums, may give others the impression that we are a good general representation of the community’s mindset. Obviously we aren’t. What we read here is mostly just personal preferences. There are some thoughts expressed that we find interesting, sometimes enlightening. Sometimes people are just venting. Single males are very wanted here, in the right circles. But they should only EVER be reaching out when someone is posting up looking for that. Any other time will come off as pushy or entitled.
Yes, a very high percentage of swingers in Utah joined swingular with the unicorn in mind. Over time through meeting and parties they find some amazing couple friends and do move into swapping once in a while. That’s their niche, not sure how you view it as biased. Both hubby and I grew up in lds homes, did what the parents wanted us too - then woke up one day as adults and realized we could actually choose for ourselves what made us happy. I don't think it's a fair judgement (then again is any judgement fair?) to look down upon Mormons who are practicing their religion and practicing in the lifestyle. Maybe they aren't very good at either one just yet! My vote is to encourage them to look within and find out what brings them true inner peace and go with it, no matter the path they choose.
I've never made the connection between the couples that chat till your fingers fall off and never meet to Mormons. I think there are a LOT of scared folks.... just wish I could tell them apart!
