Poly-Swingers - Moving beyond FWB relationship - Ever seen Zebra Lounge? Give that movie a whirl!

Virtual "Cheap Thrill Seekers" - -
What I think EVILDOERS is trying to say Islander2 is, there is no place to store such a list other than on your own computer or in one of them rolly things the dinosaurs used to keep track of their appointments, or to recall those snooty Triceratops who would just never show up. I can only assume that Swingular prefers users of the site to not punish other users for committing the crime of no show. But there is hope. They say if you contact enough people and make enough dinner appointments, you might get someone to appear in person. That's what I'm shooting for, at least.
OMG, you read my mind! Yes, sadly there are flakes in every walk of life and the fun part is trying to decide who is and isn't a flake. Unfortunately, once swinging went digital, the cost to play went WAY down. I'm not talking about the monthly fee you pay to Swingular. I'm talking about the ease with which someone can hide behind their 'puter and pretend to be something they are not. Back in the day (grab your Rolodexes kiddies), to meet other swingers you usually had to buy a swinger magazine with ads in it, rent a P.O. box, take some naughty Polaroids and send off a bunch of snail mail. It was WAY too much work for someone who just gets their jollies punking people. Sure there were still flakes, but the amount of effort people had to put in just to CONNECT with other couples made flakes far less ubiquitous. I mean for all you know now, the people who didn't show up for drinks at Applebees wasn't a hot, sexy couple but, in reality, a 600-pound transvestite defrocked pedophile priest with a ferret fetish. You probably totally dodged a bullet when he didn't have the guts to show up! [em]Emo_84[/em]

Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - Swinging is just a gateway drug. Do it as long as we have and pretty soon barnyard animals and corporate mascots start to look pretty good. Always lookin' for a bigger rush, a higher high, a kinkier fuckhole. I'm guessing in 10 or 15 years we'll REALLY be into the hard stuff like raping priests (hey, some of 'em totally deserve it) and dressing up like breakfast cereal characters and humping large appliances.

Young Swingers Myspace Swinger Party@Club Hedonism - - 35? Its your party and you can cry if you want to. Oh thats right most under 35 couples would'nt remeber that!

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? -

Don said...

We view the lifestyle as a multifaceted creature. The sex part being a benefit. In order for a person to want to have sex, they have to be attracted to the other person in some way shape or form. For some, age is an issue. Should we fault them?? I think not. Just as we've discussed in other threads about D&D, Smoking, Sexual Practices etc. The list is long. I think this has to do with preference. Are some people picky yes. Don't let their decision hamper your good time. There are many couples that this is an issue. Most people's taste doesn't change because someone complains. I say move on. We don't have an issue with age so much as we do attitude and personality. As some of you well know, I (Don) am very opinionated and love to say what's on my mind. Some don't like that. Some thing I am a prick. For those of you that think that... Anyway, as we say in the Army, suck up and drive on. Don't let rejections rule your outlook, let your successes. Good luck.

Question for women - Bi sex - no offense meant but i have to agree with flcpl you have been on here going on 5 years and it just now comes up tp play even just limited with another man.as far as another woman i would discuss it with her and find out if she would actually go through with it befor pursueing it not fair to other woman if your wife backs out.if she would then go on vacation some where near some swingers clubs and inadvertantly go to one.while there you can discuss it again and let her know that you support what ever she decides.florida is a great place for clubs both on/off premise.i would say better an on premise in case she gets cold feet then the other lady/couple can still hook up.

Simpsons: Is Marge going to be a Swinger? - -

In the shows season finally on Sunday, May 19th Marge joins a swingers on-line dating site. Seth MacFarlane, the shows creator, lends his voice to a married man that Marge meets on the site. This should be interesting. Mr. Sexperimentors
I don't think Seth MacFarlane makes that show, and i'm pretty sure the creaters mom who he named marge after just died
You are correct. Marge Groening died recently in her 90s. The show's creator is Matt Groening of Portland, Oregon, who named the character after his mother. Mrs. Enlightened, in her college days, worked at an all night Portland diner and one of her regulars in the wee hours of the morning was a struggling young cartoonist who would doodle images on the napkins and get her thoughts. Yep, Matt Groening. She remembers panning his idea of a woman with big blue hair. Good thing he did not listen to her. Groening no longer writes the episodes. There are about 16 writers, and occasionally they have a guest writer (quite often it is Joel Coen of Fargo and Big Lebowski fame). Always possible Seth MacFarlane is a guest writer.

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - TPAFUNLUVNCPL2, It's a preference thing. You are making a statement that covers how those in men in a couple feel that want to have another female to play with. That isn't always the case. There are tons of people out there that are seeking single males. You can pigeon hole everyone into what you think is acceptable. Just because you don't prefer them, doesn't mean others don't. Have an open mind and realize that we're not all here for the same reasons. You mentioned what do single men bring. What if a guy is trying to please his wife and she wants to MFM and the idea also turns him on, to watch her being DP'd or perhaps he wants to watch or be the cuckold. There is a very diverse people with regard to ssexuality here. -D-

Hair Removal Risk/Benefit - Hair removal and increased or decreased susceptibility to some STI/STDs -
We have an non-intimate vanilla acquaintance, that caught a strain of HPV and could not clear it, that has had numerous surgeries on her lady parts, and uses chemotherapy cream on a regular basis. It’s unsettling to hear about these sorts of health risk, but to ignore the existence of risk is not at all wise. There are preventative measures and then there is the luck of the genetic raffle. Most of us in the lifestyle, well most anyone, who has ever been sexually active, even just a little, and probably the majority of adults, sexually active or not, have probably been exposed to some strain of HPV, and most of us never had symptoms and just cleared the virus. Me personally, I’m strep resistant. I actually seem to be able to kill streptococcus through my own secondary immune system. When the kids or the wife would catch it and be symptomatic and start their antibiotics to kill it, I would test positive, without being symptomatic. Go back a day later and I would test negative. Rather than taking antibiotics for no reason I just sort of stayed away from people until they had been on antibiotics for a day. I don’t get sick but I could carry strep until I seem to just kill it. I have maybe been sick three days in the last fifteen years. Mrs. Delicious gets sick maybe four times a year. It’s the luck of the draw. Neither of us have ever had a cold sore, and I doubt we that neither of us have ever been exposed to that virus. Swinging carries with it higher risk than monogamy. Living an active life of any kind contains some risk and some reward. People say that a lot of swingers are flakes. Maybe they just hold from hooking up until they feel the potential for reward is worth the risk.
I’m guessing the risk-benefit decision changes before and after enduring an STD/STI. I’m guessing most of us would be more risk averse after being infected, but that might depend on the kind and duration of infection. Bacterial infections are seemingly easier to treat (antibiotics vs antivirals). Molliscum is reported to be self-limiting and can take between 6 months to 4 years to clear! Yikes!
