Swinging "Lifestyle" - Swinging "Lifestyle" - Nearly all of our friends and business associates are in the lifestyle or have been at one point. An honest percentage would be about 90% of people we know are swingers or involved in it to some capacity. Still not sure it would be called a lifestyle because we enjoy many relations outside of sex with these people.

Why is same sex marriage really such a big deal - Just rambling, could be interesting... - KOIMOO, Marriage is not just for rearing children. It's a committment of two or more people to live together or "partner" for X amount of time. It's a contract. Some religions say until death. One of the outcomes of some marriages, can be children but even for a great many of them, children cannot or do not occur. For you to make such an all-encompassing statement is ignorant on your part. Marriage can be for many things including but not limited to love, convenience, lust, children, foolishness, money etc. Whatever your reason, it should be your own decision as an adult. We all deserve equality. We should all be able to marry who we want to marry. Marriage is a contract in the eyes of the law. Any humans that are of consenting age should be able to marry. It's not your place or mind to determine what suits others. If you want to speak of evolution. The process of selection makes that trait which is less favorable cause the eventual demise of the genetic line involved. If humans or all animals for that matter, were endanger of your fear, homosexuality would've been selected out a long time ago. The truth is, it's been around since before upright humans and will continue to go on. For you to deny someone equality for such reason just shows how naive you really are. Your argument counts against every marriage that doesn't seek children. Sexuality has nothing to do with it. If you want to use "evolution" as an argument against marriage. Let's deny everyone who has a genetic defect in their family the right to marriage. Come on people. We live in a society that's meant to be free and we have people constantly trying to deny it to a certain group because of bigotry. To the religious folks, When these oppressed people have had enough and the fires start, I am gonna bust out the marshmallows. To all you religious swingers out there that defend this non-sense, you better believe if some church was trying to deny me marriage to the love of my life, I would cook me some churches. Give me liberty or give me death. That's my motto. Fuck any motherfucker trying to oppress that which many have died to give me, my freedom. Take your bible and jam it in your fuckin colon. Some of you might say, "Delete this post! It's offensive" or "Get TR out of this site, I am tired of the offensive posts". Let me just say this. This subject offends me. What you are saying to gay people is offensive. I can't believe after the advances in civil rights we've overcome in the last 1/2 century, we're still dealing with bigotry to the point where bigots have the majority to pass bigoted laws. Where does that majority originate??? The Christian Church. The only difference between these fools and radical islam is that the oppressed in the Middle East fight back. Here we let it happen. I say get this shit calling itself Judeao/Christianity out of our government and public for good! Secularity will give equality to everyone. GAWUD has no place in government. Whether physical or emotional. Same sex marriage is not an emotional problem but is in fact a legal problem to many. Our courts, family services are clogged with cases for hetero marriage problems, and now add same sex marriage to the quotion. The average divorce with children involved can take up to 14 months to conclude. If you add same sex marriage that would stretch that to almost 24 months and bring issues the courts are not prepared to handle. I know you all want to attack religion but this is only a small portion of those that object too same sex marriage. Gay couples can adopt although more diffacult it does happen, can a partner recieve money if his/her partner dies? yes they can especially if the child concerned is not of legal age. Marriage is a legal contract not religious, living together and treating one another with respect and love is the moral side of any marriage legal or not. " [1] Rights to equality shoot down your argument that it would further "clog" the system. Just as saying the same about interracial marriage. Would you deny a black man and white woman marriage based on that same reasoning, if it were still illegal? We somehow managed to take that extra load when it happened. [2] Our government wasn't prepared to handle 9/11 with airport security and we created TSA. I am sure we can handle same-sex marriage. ahaha. I love some of these ludacris arguments. [3] Religion is not a small part of the objection to marriage. Religion is on the forefront. [4] Recieving money for death, isn't the argument. It's equality. Gay people should have the same right to marry the person they choose just as you do, with all rights and priviledges. -D-

swingtown - a new show on cbs - We loved it as well. We assume, as of after "Dancing with a stars" dancing school were packed, after a few episodes of SWINGTOWN, Swingers clubs will be getting a new crowd. :) Just wish HBO came up with this idea. Then we would get to see real sex. :)

Polyamory - three (or more)-way RELATIONSHIPS - Hi all.... I'm writing this because Mr. Halfbaked and I finally found someone to swing with, and it turned into more...for ALL of us. Well, me and Mr, and the female half of this couple (long story, relationship was on the brink WAY before we got involved, and they broke up shortly after a few encounters). Thing was, I had already become VERY good friends with the female, and they had been a "play alone and together" couple, so we'd had threesomes with just him and just her, so we knew we liked being with just her. And my guy liked her a lot outside the bedroom, too. Anyway, long story short, we were talking and the subject of polyamory came up (not that we knew that word at the time), because he and i had developed feelings for her, and she'd developed feelings for us. So now, we are a love-triangle in a GOOD way. I am in love with him AND with her, and he is in love with her AND with me, and she is in love with me AND him. We're all in love with each other. So we just kind of made up these rules for our relationship...we have all-together time, and each couple within the triangle also has equal time with just the two. It's been almost a year now, and it's still going strong...We all live apart due to life/economic concerns, but we're thinking about combining households as we plan for this to be a permanent thing. We even want to have a "commitment ceremony" with the three of us, after Mr. Halfbaked and I legally tie the knot (he and she share the same last name, so after he and I get married, we'd all have it). The thing is, we have not found very many places to meet other people like ourselves, though we know they exist...We figured that maybe someone on HERE had some knowledge, either first- or second-hand, that they'd be willing to share. We realize that we're taking a chance outing ourselves on here....from the few people in the lifestyle we have told (we finally found a local club), that OUR lifestyle isn't necessarily welcomed. We figured it was worth it to put ourselves out there, since there are *very* few couples on here even close to local, so we wouldn't really be losing out on much. That said, if you're cool with sharing here on the forum, great. If not, and we totally understand, you could PM us...We're really just looking for other people like us....especially if they are swingers, because we still want to swing, too. Mr. and Misses Halfbaked...or maybe that's 3/4 now, lol ;-)

Curious how you feel - Do couples that want to take time and become friends turn you off? - Not sure why we mainly see posters from Utah in the forum. Seems like a great way to stir up a friendship or two. But to the point at hand, we always like the idea of getting along well with the other swingers we meet so friendship is a must. Not saying we won't play on the first date, but we can usually tell if we're going to get along or not as soon as we meet in person. We've even made some really close friends in the lifestyle that we don't play with. The e-mail thing gets old fast. Just a few to set up a meeting or a yes or no is good enough. Sometimes a good meet and great is all you need. And a few drinks doesn't hurt either. ;-)

Las Vegas - Las Vegas -
We haven't been, but do have a weekend planned the first of May... Did extensive research on Red Rooster and Green Door... and they both look gross. Really gross. (Like, worn down, 70s style venue where you could probably get an STD from sitting on a chair). Wife saw the pictures, read the reviews, and refuses to go anywhere near them. Swingers Circle looks more like a scam to me than a swingers club -- and after reading the reviews, I'm kind of disappointed that Swingular even allows them to advertise here. Couples Oasis and New Temptations are the two we intend to investigate when we arrive... but honestly, they're our backup plan if we can't find a fun couple to hit it off with, instead.
We were at the Red Rooster this past Saturday Night and had a wonderful time, if we play we always have our own sheets and towels, we have also attended a Swingers Circle event had a WONDERFUL time there also, Couples Oasis, was nice, but we aren't Ken & Barbie either, so i guess it all depends on who and what you are really looking for. Good Luck

Fun Couples Cruise - - Hi we are a couple from nh we know it is a long way from the salt lake area that most people on this site seems to be from. The wife and i are looking into takeing a cruise and are tossing around the idea of a swingers cruise but not sure if we want the expense and being locked in to everything to be about swinging we are hoping you could give us a bit more info on your plans for this cruise

Place to Hang out and Play - Have an Idea - It surely seams that the number of swingers in Utah is LARGE. I have heard some thing before like, (Utah has the most subscriptions to sexy magazines per capita) and that the numbers of swingers in Utah is in the top 5 on the list. So with all those people how is it Utah is still so controlling of what the people want? Here in Florida we have ON PREMISE clubs that are completely legal. Yes every now and then the news tries to gain a few points with the religious WRONG. For the most part if the club keeps it's nose clean everyone else stays out of it. We also have house parties and places called house parties that are 3 days a week every week. It's by invitation only and you BYO-drinks, a dish to pass and most donate to the cause. Keep in mind these are BY INVITATION ONLY... Meaning if you don't donate you may never be invited back. The owners DO live there and have regular bills sent to these homes. There are some that move around from hotel to hotel also. By invitation only... About a year ago a house party was busted out in the sticks. A few people were harassed by the local news jerks. Since then that TV station has lost a large number of people watching them due to their ON CAMERA BS... We are members of an ON PREMISE club in Port Richey, Fl. The police have been trying to find a reason to shut our doors a few times. 1st go around was people that lived in the vicinity. This brought on an investigation and the TV NEWS CREWS. They interviewed many of the homeowners and also the people in the stores below the club. Well the neighborhood wanted us out and the store owners wanted us to stay pointing out how clean and decent things have been since the BAR upstairs became a nice quiet swingers club. About 6 months or so ago the TV NEWS crews were at it again. This time the people in the neighborhood watch all around the club had said their crime rate had dropped like a rock. NO reports of anyone ever needing the police or an ambulance and no homeless people hanging around trying to sponge off people anymore either. Also no broken bottles in the parking lot. So now the locals are happy with us... Go figure...
