Creating an Amazing Swingers Profile - How to market yourself better -
Then we are fake! We are only verified as real..... Maybe we missed a punctuation mark. Fitting to most that the squawkers are the ones that never go to parties or events and never tend to mingle with the Real peeps. Oh well, comment away
You are fake??? Last time I remember the cute hand marks on Amys butt cheeks were real!!! And I recall you making them!!!! Lol

Are you still interested! - Dynamics amoung swingers - Maybe its just us.. but we certainly find we go through stages. Some (like now) when were very social and meeting lots of people and some when we just hangout with the same good friends and maybe not swing for months. Alot depends whats going on in our lives, how busy we are and of course if there are any people worth meeting.

Girls that are into DP - How common is this activity among the swingers? - I love it - when it works! Don't think its a given, sometimes there is a lot of work to getting it to happen, and even that is fun! DP with a strap on - super hot! xxx Luscious

I Have A Question - Poly vs. Open - Most of the people we know, who self define as polyamorous, are really interested in something akin to a romance, with some level of commitment. Obviously, we don't know all that many poly people. In the double digits, not even the triple digits, and, most of them already knew each other before we met them. Like swingers, the people we know share a sense of some sort of group identity, and group activity. We have been to a few events a few years back and felt pretty welcome, albeit, we are not exactly on the same page. We were upfront about it. Nice people! It's a pretty small sampling, so it should be taken as an anecdotal, rather a description of the way it really is, or should be. We want to avoid labeling a whole group. Open marriages. Most of the people we know who self identify as in open marriages, seem to be in one committed relationship, which often includes children, shared bank accounts, all the trappings of a vanilla relationship, and closed in those aspects of life, but as a pair, they have each others blessings, to have sexual affairs and romantic relationships, with other people, that really don't have to include their primary partners presence. Most of the people we know, that self identify, individually, and as a couple, as in an open marriage, started out swinging as a couple. Swingers scene is the closest thing to a group that they may move in as a collective. We are somewhat in this category. We tend to only take the relationship to this level when one of us has an especially strong connection with someone. Here again this is an anecdotal accounting based on just the people we know.

Curious where did you meet? - - I meet James on match.com. We hit it off and he is the love of my life. We have been married for six years and recently started into the lifestyle. I was reading the paper at lunch one day and saw this article about skinny dipping at Caliente Spa and Resort. I called him at lunch and I jokingly asked him if he wanted to go and he was all excited about it. James could not stop talking about it when I got home from work. We looked up their website and some the comments stated they had a bad time because they allow some sexual activity in the pool. Apparently some people went to the resort during a swinger convention and we thought that was cool. We started to talk about if there were other swingers there and we both got excited about the possibilities. We went to Caliente and we got used to the idea of being naked in public. We found out we enjoyed it. We did not meet another couple at Caliente therefore we searched for swinger websites and here we are. We met a few nice couples here and enjoy the lifestyle. I guess I should be careful how I joke with my husband.

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - Posted By: TEQUILAROSE Reply posted on: Jan 8, 2008 - 1:02 pm AKLIM, Saying pitbulls are a dangerous breed would be as inaccurate as saying all mexicans are illegal and are on welfare, all blacks like fried chicken and listen to rap music or all whites live in a trailer park and fuck their sister. There are dangerous Pitbulls, just as there are dangerous German Shepards and Golden Retrievers. It does not make it right to assume all are just because some are. Pitbulls are not the "most dangerous" breed by nature. The have a higher risk of attack, because many people mistreat them because of how they fight. Mis/Disinformation, ignorance and insecurity is what perpetuates intolerance Again, you are right. However, there are those that will cite raw statistics to JUSTIFY their opinion instead of trying to FORM an opinion.

becoming a poly couple - wanting another woman to join our family -
The Utah Polyamory Society is a decent place to start networking, if that is your thing. Not a big fan of the term, or of being labeled for who and what I am at any given moment in my life. As far as physical attractiveness, it is hit-and-miss in every community. Usually, one has to delve deeper than the loud and more public crowd. I've met a number of swingers on here who also view themselves as "poly," and even more who have expressed interest in pursuing such a lifestyle. I've met some who have branched away from swinging toward poly. Swinging for most couples I've known represents a passing phase toward messy divorce, and sometimes some form of poly -- though that also tends to lead toward messy divorce. In other words, your favorite label fails to insulate you from the consequences of life, and from your own choices. Therefore, being too proud of what you think you are today is rather silly. Daniel
Becoming self aware really can release us from a large measure of cognitive dissonance. Labels, and especially the determination to personify the definition of a label can inhibit self awareness. In the dance of neurons and mirror-neurons firing within us and all the accompanying chemical responses affecting our emotional state, etc., etc., we are in fact never really a centered being, or completely a separate entity buy really more an ever changing manifestation within a whole. If we think we are going to change and we are not capable of ever really controlling or even predicting exactly where the change will take us or what and how we will experience it then at least we are aware it really is all pretty mysterious. Marriage or a bonding or whatever you call it is as ever changing as the rest of the universe. We each and everyone of us are frankly a completely different physical manifestation every micro second that most probably has never existed before and will never exist again. Never-the-less, we all tend to have a self identifying life story or self image at least to some degree. It is at least somewhat based on our recollection of events that lay backward in the arrow of time, as we remember it, which in and of itself is sort of an illusion based on our limitations in perception. We also know a few peeps that are members of the site that are more Poly Light than poly in that they have been willfully enjoying a life partner as in just one for many years but that are open to deeper relationships that may include a measure of romance. Willfully enjoying a life partner seems to be the key. We are in the middle of that every micro second. Exactly who and how we will be in the future is impossible to predict. We willfully agree to keep doing it together.

Identifying Swingers! - Lots of talk and now some action! :) - We like what you are doing and agree that it does not stand out like something we tried before. We are curious to see what the new items will look like. Is there a way to get on a mailing list for your site? We tried wearing a pin that was given to us from another site and forgot to take it off my jacket at the end of the night. The next time I wore the jacket we were with family and they wanted to know what the initials in bright colors stood for. In a pinch I replied it stands for the "safe drivers club ". Then my mother in law wanted to join but I further explained it was for us that drag raced and went a certain time with no accidents. So I invited her to drag race and earn her own pin but she declined. And that is why we would appreciate a more subtle way of letting others know about our lifestyle choices. Please keep us informed. Joe and Lori
