Las Vegas - - We have only once gone to Vegas and spent a whole week and it was not in conjunction with any lifestyle take over or anything like that. We didn't go to any sex clubs. We did set up a temporary profile in a Vegas tourist hook-up site for swingers that we think is gone and met a couple that way we passed on. where are the real people who want to swing - run into to many phonies - There are lots of "real" swingers that aren't "Ken & Barbies" out there. Of course, everybody's idea of "real" and "Ken & Barbie" differ becauase everybody has different tastes in appearance and what swinging is.
You will run across those on sites that are just testing the waters, putting up a profile and seeing if they are really ready to, or want to, do this. The key is perserverance. I would also recommend finding out where the clubs or parties are going on in your area and attending those. Meeting people in person can do allot more then just a few small pictures and a a hundred words or so.

Friend collectors or swingers - - We don't think the OP is being offensive, just a little frustrated. Yes, there are plenty here with no intention of meeting or being truthful. Likely nothing more than a fantasy or she doesn't even know about a profile here. Getting on a friends list for many is just access to more amateur LS porn and maybe some hot chat.
We'll echo the sentiments of some others. Our friends list includes couples we have met or would like to meet. If it becomes apparent we're not meeting, we move on. Shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who reads our profile.

Depends on what you are considering law. I think even in the LDS tradition there is an understand that God's law is higher than man's or governments law. A large part of the controversy of LDS polygamy comes because it was in disobedience to the law. Where church leaders believed that following their religious conviction was more important then what U.S. law said. But if you are taking some overarching moral law, like Kants categorical imperative then maybe. I think most swingers have the same ends in mind and no is being used as a means for an end. However that being said, I think most swingers seem to follow a more utilitarian guideline that pleasure is good and what promotes pleasure is good.
