I know a little about Port Charlotte, my mother moved there back in the 90's. It began as a retirement community in the 60's and it's still not an incorporated city. It's just a name of a general location in Charlotte County. The most exciting thing to ever hit Port Charlotte was Hurricane Charley in 2004.

Tips for the single fuys2 - - There are douche bag singles and there are douche bag couples. I personally think people attack what they are afraid of. When we were new in the lifestyle I didn't see the purpose of SM. I thought they were all creepy, dirty, and should be banned from this Swingers site. As we grew in ourselves within this lifestyle that actually seemed to change. We find if much easier to find singles (at least SM) to play with rather then try and find 4 people that everyone meshes. We actually meet up and end up playing with SM much more then anything these days.
With that said the beginning of this thread is dead on. If your profile looks like all you care about is the size of your penis, and what you think you can do with it, you won't get a second glance from us. We look for SM that present themselves well, can hold a normal conversation and not creep us out.
Age differences - How do you handle it - I don't want to start a controversy, and then it cums, Why would age be an issue at all. Isn't the idea of swinging, first of all, about having fun with fantasy, and then there is the idea that swinging is not a mainstream activity; i.e., Not along the idea of "Normal" relationships or sex. Age is one of the norms in society and thus, I would think, one of those things that would go out the window if one is involved in swinging.
I bring this point up simply to hear why age would be an issue... Weeding through the real/ fakes - I wish there was a "validation " on profiles.. - PolyCouple, I think you're pointing to a cultural gap that we've also been frustrated with for years. We fall more into the independently open category, which puts us closer to the poly-lite and kink communities than the swinger community. We've found that a lot of swingers have the men negotiate the process and that's a huge turn off for us so we end up considering it a red flag in terms of what we're looking for. No judgement, it just clearly wouldn't work with our dynamic. We're free to talk to and do whatever we want with whomever we want. And we do. It's just different. But, in general, only hearing from the man does also make it hard to figure out if you're talking to a real couple or if there's true enthusiastic consent involved on all sides. Especially with so much catfishing going on over on other apps. Maybe the site could have badges or tags that filter searches.

Is it a “preference” or is it “ discrimination” - - Didn't realize this thread was apparently about skin tone. Fun fact. Skin is technically ALL the same color. It varies only by value, which is the relative lightness or darkness of a particular color. Saturation and chroma also play a role in how we perceive colors. Maybe a more accurate way to state your preference would be to say that you prefer that your lovers have a much higher skin tone value...of course, then you might be inundated by requests to fuck by albino swingers. But, based on the verbiage in your profile, albinos WOULD be the closest color value to your stated preference of "white".
