Issues at New Yorker…how do we fix them? - - Until an alternative arrives on the scene, perhaps just designating a couple of coffee shops along the Wasatch as swinger gathering places would at least give "swingers" a chance to meet face to face. Granted, you could not dress in lingerie, there would be no playroom, and you would have to have a way to self-identify. We are not full-on poly people, that are looking to fall in love, and establish something possibly as permanent as our marriage, but we do enjoy getting a bit smitten, and have quite a few friends who are full-on poly. Poly groups do this, and we used to meet with a group that met a Sunrise Coffee, and it was fun! We made friends. Good honest sober conversations. This group had a couple of designated nights. Maybe, the swinging lifestyle community could do something similar. No worries about getting raided.

There is a really active counterculture and social scene in Salt Lake that is populated by the newcomers and just as many if not more people that were raised in conservative Mormon homes, now no longer believers, that venture into all sorts of activities including adventurous sex just for the fun of it. You got to love this town. With an ever increasing percentage of the population fucking for fun and fucking more people during their lifetime it just makes sense that any sexually transmittable virus and or bacterial infection will also increase it's presence within the population if left unchecked. Pretending there is no risk is leaving it unchecked. We can choose to just avoid the behaviors associated with the transmission of STDs and STIs or take preventative measures to increase our chances of staying healthy.
Arguments about the accuracy of statistical models are really just that, arguments about the validity of the procedures or perhaps whether or not the presentation of the data is being manipulated by people with an agenda. Fact of the matter is the risk exist and appears to be increasing and whereas sexual activity is a big component of the swing scene we are all subject to that risk. Throwing our hands up and saying there is no such thing as safe sex and just being critical of all attempts at prevention seems to us really counter productive.

New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - The swingers clubs we've gone to were in Phoenix before they closed them (showing our age here) or favorite was Guys and Dolls. They had a stripper pole, free pool tables, a shower area and a large hot tub. We weren't a fan of the hot tub but they keep it free of floating nasties. We went to Club Chameleon when guys and dolls was closed. They had multiple themed rooms (i.e. the dungeon with multiple bdsm accoutrement including a rack, the fish tank which was a room that was surrounded by clear fiberglass, and a large orgy room with a padded floor a lot of couches and porn playing through a projector) they also had multiple stripper pole a dance floor and free pool tables. The entrance was 35/couple, 25/single female and 65/single male. Idk why they got closed but the rumor for Guys and Dolls was that there were prostitutes that paid to enter and then propositioned sex for money. Finding a swingers club in state would be great. Being that we live in Box Elder County we'd probably be able to visit only every couple of months.

There are tons of people out there that are seeking single males.
But of all the couples seeking out there, what is the odds of running into such a couple? IOW, if you look at the whole game, is there a better chance of finding a couple that is seeking a couple, seeking a single female or seeking a single male?
Most of the couples we know say they are looking for couples or single females while a few might be ok with single males once in a while. Maybe it is a WI thing.
