You are correct. Marge Groening died recently in her 90s. The show's creator is Matt Groening of Portland, Oregon, who named the character after his mother. Mrs. Enlightened, in her college days, worked at an all night Portland diner and one of her regulars in the wee hours of the morning was a struggling young cartoonist who would doodle images on the napkins and get her thoughts. Yep, Matt Groening. She remembers panning his idea of a woman with big blue hair. Good thing he did not listen to her.
Groening no longer writes the episodes. There are about 16 writers, and occasionally they have a guest writer (quite often it is Joel Coen of Fargo and Big Lebowski fame). Always possible Seth MacFarlane is a guest writer.

We like to think that we're doing what makes both of us happy. If that makes us swingers or polyamorous, or whatever, then that's cool with us. Our label we give ourselves isn't important, nor do we care about it.
We beg to differ. That label is important from certain standpoints. Now, if you meet us and tell us you are a poly couple seeking a poly relationship, we can tell you it won't go far since that is not what we want. That way, you know it isn't going anywhere fast and so do we. No need to drag it out for a while and then "I thought you...." or "I got the impression.....". If I am looking for a certain type of relationship, isn't it better to know up front and not waste anybody's time and get hurt feelings?

We live here. Our experience is that most couples do not hate single men. Most married men are not intimidated by the presence of single men. Most couples and singles whether super active or rarely active in the lifestyle don’t post anything in the forum section of this website. As is the case with so much on the internet, a few of us that do read or post in the forums, may give others the impression that we are a good general representation of the community’s mindset. Obviously we aren’t. What we read here is mostly just personal preferences. There are some thoughts expressed that we find interesting, sometimes enlightening. Sometimes people are just venting. Sometimes it’s angry venting stemming from personal experience. As for insecurities, we all have at least a few.

Being pregnant in the lifestyle - - We would have to agree pregnant woman are the most sexiest. Unfortuantly around us everyone takes a break from the lifestyle durring this time. This is more then likely why we have an attraction also to woman that have meat on then. Woman seem tobe sexier with meat on them instead of the small framed woman. Please dont get us wrong we like all shapes and sizes but just love full figured woman..
People please always practice safe sex, T got fixed 9 years ago and even with our old girlfriend that we had for a year he still practiced safe sex. It all really hit home for alot of people here in Idaho THis summer when in a swingers group we where memebers they had an out break of clamidia(may not be spelled right) it was scary because with B being bisexual she could have got it easy enough. so remember this if you use your toys on another woman cover them with condoms also. As a single male also in this lifestyle who has faced a similar situation my advice would be to just openly talk about the lifestyle, involve both him and his wife in the convo casually over drinks one night when your just hanging out. Basically plant a seed and see if it grows, realistically if they are into the lifestyle and are open to the idea they will invite you, but its best to let them think its their idea to include you. For some couples it just might be out of bounds to include friends into their sexploits.
