Vegas: Swingers circle or couples oasis? - Which do I prefer - Never been to swinger circle. We were told about couples oasis when we lived in Vegas by other locals. WD have been to the green door , red rooster and couples oasis. And out of all three couples oasis was the one I liked the best. It is the only one that does not allow single guys. Nothing against them but in that kind of setting they tend to give off that creepy feeling. Anyways it kinda like the manor there is a cover and it would is BYOB. There's a bar with a dance floor. Pool tables with a snack area. A group play area and some private play areas also a outdoor pool. During the summer I think they have pool parties on Sunday. Out of the 3 it is the only one I would go back to.

Going out on a limb... - - I'm not sure that what I am about to say has anything to do with this thread, but I am beyond pissed right now and I feel the need to vent... so here goes. Why do single males have a hard time? On another swingers site, a section of our profile states.. "Please be discreet when sending us a Yahoo instant message." There's nothing worse then having a message pop up on the screen that says "YOUR WIFE HAS GREAT TITS ARE YOU INTERESTED IN A HUNG SINGLE MALE?" While showing off your vacation pictures to visiting relatives, friends, etc." So what happens.... a message just like that pops up. I type back and say "Why would you send a message like that?" I point out where it states being discreet on the IM and I add "What the hell is wrong with you sending messages like that?" Here's what I get back.... "WELL YOU'RE THE ONE LETTING STRANGE GUYS FUCK YOUR WIFE" Now we've played with many single guys... and I know that many many many are really nice and intelligent and mature.... but this one really set you all back several notches.... It just isn't worth it when I'm clued in to the mind set that exists among a percentage of you.

Curious Question - - Mogar, You have just described the lifestyle as it should be and is in many parts of the country... not just UT. It does seem, however, that the people on this site, particularly from UT are very very sexy. There must be someting in the water or that mormons are particularly good looking people... Might have to do with the survival of the fittest.... A long and perilous journey out there and then setting up and getting things started in the wilderness... Only the best genes survive, I guess. Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - Is it just Us or are swingular members becoming less active and more focused on members with more money (access to high end events), more social skills (aka the clicks concerns, and only super good looking (model looks). We have been on swingular for 5 years now off and on noticed a chat room of 50-60 users nightly dwindle down to 5 people tops. No more house parties only paid events. My wife wants a single male now and again but only goes by age really for determination big small freaky no matter its just the first few lines that make her say yes or no.. Denver. what to do? - Headed to Denver next week, what must duo's are there? - I've lived on and off in Boulder/Denver for over 12 years and I can tell you the LS scene is booming! Yes, The Ranch (scarlet ranch) is great but you have to pay to get in and it's best when there's an event like NYE or a foam party (those are great!) I would get on scarletlifestyle.com, which is their companion site kind of like Swingular. There you can meet people in the area and see what events are going on at the Ranch while you're there. So the joke in Denver is...if you go to Highlands Ranch (SW Denver) and you see white rocks in the front yard then they are swingers. Denver, or to be specific, Highlands Ranch, is home to the largest swinger/lifestyle community in the country so enjoy! For fun, Shotgun Willie's (Glendale) and La Boheme (downtown Denver), both strip clubs, are fun and fillup with LSers on Friday and Saturday nights. Here's something Ive been curious about - - Congrats on 10 years in the lifestyle, SLOW. We're old timers as well and have been doing this off and on since shortly after we got married. Over 25 years now! So I guess I can sort of see both points of view and contrary to the current rather negative societal attitude towards political correctness I have no trouble being firmly on the side of being kind to people and not labeling or belittling anyone regarding their participation in the lifestyle. Having said that, however, I can also see the viewpoint of some couples since when we first started swinging there really were no singles (or at least so few that we never met any) actively participating in the lifestyle. A few years later we met a few singles who would, say, hire a hooker to gain access to parties and events or sometimes convince a friend to act as sort of a swinging "beard" if you will, again to gain entry to swinging events. This was all pre-internet so connecting was considerably more difficult than it is now. To say that the internet changed swinging (for better or worse) is a HUGE understatement. I was talking to a guy (formerly single but now in a couple) recently about his experiences as both a SM and a couple in the lifestyle. His attitude had actually changed dramatically. It reminded me of former smokers who now are militantly anti-smoking. His argument (now that he's no longer single) was to take the couples and the singles and put them on separate websites and what do you have? He said you have a swingers site and a hookup site. I told him that there are some couples who actually seek out singles over other couples but he wasn't easily dissuaded. One final point he made that I thought perhaps was a valid point...he said when he first started out as a SM in swinging he thought that all or most of the married guys who enjoyed seeing their wives getting fucked were basically cuckolds or at very least not real men. He said it took him many years and a lot of different experiences to lose that mindset. He also said that now that he's part of a couple who is frequently contacted by single guys he sees that attitude (because he recognizes it from when he had it) far more often than not. He stated that he would guess that the VAST majority of those single guys who don't "get it", the bad apples if you will, the ones who ruin it for the few good guys have that attitude and mindset. He said that's why there will probably always be somewhat of a schism between singles and couples. Whew, that was a long fucking post. Hope it made sense. No more herb before posting, Mr. Evil! LOL
