Back in the 60s and 70s you could not open a Drag Cartoons magazine or Boys Life or even a comic book with out an advertisement for Sea Monkeys as pets. You could buy a package through the mail and put them in a fish bowl, add water and plenty of salt and have sea monkeys for pets. There were more sea monkeys shipped out of Utah then anything else save missionaries in the 60s and 70s. My brother and I sent away for some to be shipped to us in Arizona in about 1962 about the time "Meet the Beatles" came out. What a fucking fraud! They did come back to life but they sure did not look at all like monkeys. Those damned x-ray glasses didn't work either. Finding Connections - Do the majority of swingers wait to be approached? - For context, I'm the male of the couple and have been on a single male profile for most of my time on this site. I don't think I've ever actually met anyone for the first time from this website. I send out the occasional email, and I get approached every once in a while, but nothing ever happens. For me, this was a place to stay connected with the people that I met in person, at parties and events and things like that. It has been a much more effective tool for that than for meeting people. But like I said, I was a single male profile for a very long time. Now that we're on an account together, we might have more luck meeting other couples on here. We'll have to wait and see. As for being approached... it varies. If it's someone I'm not interested in, I do usually try to reply and let them know that it's not going to work for whatever reason. I don't do that as often for single males, because I've had some bad experiences with them harassing me afterwards, but for couples I personally try to reply. Not everybody does, and I imagine that for some people who get lots of requests it would become time-consuming to reply to everyone.

In the end the investigators were able to discover that the owners of the theaters were using the income from the theaters to subsidize totally legitimate businesses they also owned which resulted in racketeering charges which are a felony and directed at the owners. That was the end of pornographic theaters in Salt Lake City. The internet probably would have put them all out of business anyway. It seems that I remember that there was also was a well known and very successful modeling and acting booking agency that also sometimes pimped out really stunningly attractive women and some men too to wealthy business people visiting Salt Lake City. This agency had a big legitimate book of business and just sort of disappeared over night due to racketeering charges involving money for sex being deposited into bank accounts of the agency. So maybe any money earned by anyone, event and party organizers included that can be tied to the lifestyle should be kept separate from any other business they might own just in case the ultra conservative side of our city ever decides to find some leverage to try and shut down swingers events. Anyone that has been an adult for over three decades living here can see that the culture that apposes the near theocracy that existed here for so long is much larger and has more influence and control than was the case not so long ago. Calling all losers! - LS and club scene - We have said to ourselves before that 'we must be the worst swingers in the world'. We say this because sometimes we will get a text or email at 11pm and all it says is 'we are horny, lets meet and fuck'...hell we are already in bed and sometimes hubby is asleep.
