Any swingers advise for Spain? - Swing clubs in Madrid - Well not too sure about swinger clubs, but we were there last year and the hotel we stayed in had one of the top rated rooftop bars in all of Europe, and the hotel itself was amazing, if you like trendy hotels, the name of the hotel was "ME" Madrid, it is probably in one of the best locations.
Swingers at work... - - My wife and I have had much the same experience. Recently, at my work a long time swing friend of ours that we had lost touch with (moved out of state) got hired to work at my company. At first I thought it could get a bit awkward, but it is all good. Luckily, our friend is very discreet and NEVER brings up anything about it at work.
In the past, we have had to deal with the indiscreet folks that want to babble on and on about this party and who they saw there, but we haven't had to deal with that in several years which is a great thing.
Swingers cars??? - What ya driving?? - So we're just curious what everyone is driving. We've met some couples lately who ironically have the same or similar taste in cars. How did you get started? - - Oh boy... I get to tell this story a lot but it never gets dull... lol
How we came to be....
First you have to understand how we met...
I had been a widow for about 8 years, during which I began to get curious about ways to fulfill my own fantasies... being tied up, blindfolded and used by several diferrent people at one time just didn't sound very likely under normal dating circumstances. So, I began to surf the web for subjects relating to my desires and came across a few swinging sites... Instantly I became interested in learning more about swinging. I placed a few ads on web sites and waited to see what would happen. I began getting lots of replies and quickly learned that THIS lifestyle was for me. after a few years I gave up because i was just too nervous to go out and meet these people alone.
After a few years I was dating a normal guy and we were invited to a party together. At the party I was introduced to some friends of his (who were swingers, but I was not informed of this). They were very nice people and we became friends right away. The following weekend I threw a small dinner party at my house and invited them. The guy i was dating was not at this party due to his work schedule. The party eventually ended up in the hottub and soon we were all naked. Well, to make a long story short, they hit on me all night long! I kept brushing them off because the man I was dating was NOT into that sort of lifestyle. They took it very well and we remained good friends. A few weeks after my party, there was a party being thrown in the their honor at a local pub and we were invited to attend. We went to the party and had a great time. My date however, had to leave the party fairly early (another conflict with his job) and I decided to stay at the party for a while longer. That's when I noticed a VERY handsome but VERY young looking guy sitting across the room that seemed to be staring at me. He didn't look a day over 20 to me (a 10 year diference in our ages at least) so I began to wonder if my tag was sticking out or if I had frosting on my nose, or what! So I ran to the bathroom quickly to check. When I came back out my friends (the swinger couple) were standing next to my table WITH the handsome guy. I walked up and was quickly informed that this GORGEOUS man who had been staring at me was their son, Ryan. We were introduced and hit it off right away. We sat together all night long talking about everything. To make another long story short, within 2 weeks I had broken up with the guy i was dating and Ryan was moving in with me. 2 weeks after that we were engaged.
After several months and a lot of great times we were out on the boat one weekend at a place called passage key. This is a place where 50-100 boats anchor in 3' of water and wander around from boat to boat all day partying. We were sitting in the cockpit eating our lunch when we noticed a couple wandering our way. They came up to the boat and introduced themselves and we began talking and hanging out with them. After several bloody marys we all ended up in our cabin playing! I had never mentioned ever being in the lifestyle to Ryan before because I didn't think he would like it! But that night on the boat went very well! We had a blast! We woke up the next morning and Ryan asked me "What the hell do you call what we just did???" It was so cute. I told him that's what they call swinging and he then told me that he thought his parents were into that... that's when i got to tell him the story about his parents and the spa party i had... we both had quite a laugh!! Since then we began placing ads online and going to a few clubs and have been having a great time... I am soooo glad I found him. Now both our fantasies are quickly becoming reality! ;)

Single Males vs. Unicorns - this is ridiculous - This site is no different than any other swingers site. I'm afraid that you will find good and bad in all groups, be it single males, single females, or couples. There are those that give their perspective groups a bad name, but unfortunately, little can be done about it, as it can be hard to verify who is for real and what someone's intentions are, without knowing them in person.
In my time in the lifestyle, I have observed...single males who were actually in relationships but looking for secret side action, single females, who seem to have a husband/bf who's looking to join...but she still lists as single, and couples who believe that simply because they bring someone along to a party...it gives them free range to do as they please. On the flip side, I have met some very nice people from all 3 groups as well.
My point is...all 3 of these groups have their roles in the lifestyle, but until a foolproof way comes along of determining who's for real and who's not...we will all have to deal with the good and the bad. As others have mentioned though...if you are object to a particular group and don't want to hear anything from members of that group...block/ignore them. Just remember that you are throwing out the good along with the bad.
Another Swingers Show on TV - - did anyone catch this show?....we thought it was a decent representation of some of the issues that arise in the lifestyle.However,we did think it was humorous at times as a few of the couples seemed to be concerned with privacy in not letting family and friends know they are swingers (we dont either) but they are on TV in a swinger show..lol..it will be interesting to see how they progress in upcoming episodes.
Swinger Bracelets - Swinger bracelets - honestly what needs to be done is yes the bracelets and no matter what your not going to make everyone happy. OK the number is fine to say hey were swingers instead of colors why not have a 1 threw 5 and put it in a circle to separate it from the other numbers one being beginners and 5 being all out who really cares about the fact if your bi or single cuz if you catch on to the bracelet then you can just discreetly ask
just how long does it take ??? - - we have been swinging for 8 years now and have heard everybody say what fun it is . we have been to just about every party and club around here you can think of. and we have made very good friends from all this but we got into this to spice up our marrage.
when we go to any party people are very nice to you but just dont want to have much to do with you .
and no we didnt just set there and act like a wall flower.
but its everywhere we go .its like we scare people or something.
as of last year my wife said she has had enough of spending money to go to parties and have people not want to even talk to us except to say hi thanks for showing up and giveing us your money. so she stoped she said she is over all the drama from everybody. i cant blame her now .

Key West - - Yeah whatever you do avoid Club Pu like the plague. You will have much more fun and meet more swingers at the Garden of Eden clothing optional bar. It's on the 3rd floor above the Bull Bar.
Saint Pats day in KW is great!! No real parade to speak of but Finnegan's Wake closes the street and has a block party, thats a blast! Also on Saturday March 14th there is a Saint Pattys Bar Stroll... thats a fun event also. Spring break will be going on at the same time so it should be pretty crowded down here. Don't worry, you won't run out of fun things to do!! ;)
