Ways to point out Swingers in public - - How about an item most of us have, swingers or not, but then wear it very differently!
No mater if a person is a swinger or not most of us have a wrist watch and when we wear it it's on the left wrist and face on the out side yes a lot of people don't bother to wear it anymore they just look at their phone, so not only wear it, but put it on the right wrist and face on the inside of the wrist, if someone calls you on it and either you don't fancy them or think they are vanilla just having a dig at you, then all you have to say is "Really, swingers wear their watch like this!" and say thanks as you are taking it off and moving it back to the other side! Latter you can move it back again.
Maybe not always wear it like this but when you are going to known or supposed Swinger hang out place, Bar's Etc would be a good way all "Wave a Flag" so to speak.

Where Should we go? - Have flight vouchers, where is a good swinger spot? - We've been to Hedo in Jamaica, Desire in Cancun, Caliente Caribe (formerly Eden Bay) in the Dominican Republic and the Swingers Cruise - all destinations multiple times.
Our experience says it doesn't matter where you go as much as who you go with. Since there is never a large contingency going from Utah, we always try to book when there is a takeover by a group.
Every time we have been adopted as soon as we got there just as if we had always been part of their group. We also usually go the week of Halloween. It's always a nasty celebration and it's at the very end of hurricane season. We've come close but have never had trouble with the weather yet.
I think Desire in Cancun is the easiest resort to push the rules to the limit. Hedo II in Jamaica would be second. The former Hedo III in Jamaica was a bit more restrictive. Caliente Caribe has recently become lifestyle friendly after Eden Bay was purchased by Caliente Resorts. Before, they were just a nudist resort. The swingers cruises allow nudity on the pool decks but you have to be dressed anywhere else on the boat with the exception of the playroom which is on one of the lower decks. Also, you usually have to remain dressed on the day the boat is port until that evening when the boat sails. Some ports are exceptions when the boat is anchored far enough away and they take you to shore on tenders.
If you like to take pictures of you and your partner on vacation, Desire is the most friendly. Hedo really frowns on pictures even if they are of you or someone in your group with their permission. We have managed however, to accumulate thousands of digital shots from all the resorts combined over the last few years.
We have had a blast at each resort/cruise and will continue to go back. But, we've found that it's all what you make it.
Taking It Like A Champ - Best and worst ways to say "no thanks" - So I'm sure we've all been the recipients of a "Ya, we're just not interested" type of rejection after meeting a hot, fun couple that we thought we clicked with. No? Just us? Well then maybe you've handed a few of those out. So what ways have you successfully told a couple they're just not good enough, or how have you been nicely rejected in a way that didn't devastate you? We want to find a way to let a couple down that doesn't leave a them bawling their eyeballs out or pinning our picture to the wall and throwing darts at it. Especially if we like them...we just don't LIKE them. You know? Share your experiences, oh wise swingers!
Polyamory - Any thoughts on an exclusive 3 or more partner relationship? - One thing to help is swinging is not poly and poly is not swinging. They are two distinct differences. Swinging is about the physical aspect - sex (and friendship of course), while poly is about love (poly - many, amory - love -- many love).
Many people who live in a triad or a poly relationship started off as swingers, but due to the emotional conflict between many "typical" swingers, chose to go into a more poly lifestyle.

Just a little of what I know on the subject. Is it possible, yes, but there has to be a clear understanding, a very strong love and a willingness from all involved to address any issue that arise.
The same could be said for an open relationship; works for some, not for everyone.
