Seriously, we live with only one ethical standard: Do not harm others unnecessarily. Simple and to the point.
As to the difference between morals and ethics; I have always believed that morals are those things society pushes on you, be it your church, the law, family, ect, while ethics are those things you take for yourself and make a part of your own beliefs and actions.
Do I view myself as moral? Not really. I have consciously chosen to ignore those things which society has attempted to push on me in favor of what I believe to be right and wrong. I obey laws I don't agree with not because I believe those laws to be moral, or myself to be moral, but because I do not wish the repercussions of breaking those laws. That and I live in serious red-neck country and our prostitutes are just downright scary .
Fantasy Fest - - We already said we're going, but one highlight will be a C/O Sunset cruise on Wed the 27th, that based on last year is the most fun, erotic, wildest time at FF. Frustration with Friend Requests - - The underlying problem is the "we're swingers, you're swingers" mindset. We've been around the scene for a long time and met many many people who don't understand why we won't just fuck them...afterall, they're swingers and we're swingers...so let's just fuck already. This "hobby" is for fantasy fulfillment. If you aren't at least a little bit attracted to someone for any reason then what the hell is the point of fucking them? Especially when most of us can stay home and have WAY better sex with someone we love.
I Have A Question - Poly vs. Open - We have found we are very flexible but with preferences. If we contact a couple and meet them for a drink or dinner and we have some great conversation and the attraction is there, it opens numerous possibilities. If we get naked the experience can range from OMG to let’s not go there again. Polyamory requires effort and commitment that we are not looking for, we want FWB that we can see when the timing works out. Not getting naked is ok also and sometimes we meet folks in the lifestyle that just become friends and not sexual partners.
We try to keep it simple and never take it seriously and we have been fortunate to have a close group of friends who we enjoy being with. We also enjoy meeting new couples wherever we are. We enjoy events where we can meet other swingers like Naughty in Nawlins. We have had some incredible experiences and again just some so so experiences also.
The point is we do not define ourselves as polyamory but we know what we like and we never consider the specifics of what it is besides swinging.
