If your family or non swinging friends found out you swing - - First off, GREAT QUESTION!! It's kinda like those "What If..." comic book tittles you see now and again about your favorite super hero if they didn't turn out the way they did kinda thing. In this case it's about swinging and what if (insert relative or friend here) found out we were swingers? We live in duel worlds--church and mainstream--where if folks who know of our faith found out about us would certainly shun us out or pray us to Jesus. Our relatives would freak I can imagine because we are "certainly out of line" for getting involved in this lifestyle. Funny, I bet secretly many of them wished they could be this open about sexuality and free to let their hair down and be able to talk and participate with other adults in this way. Ed and Brenda

Comfort level of casual vs relationships? - -
We are still fairly new to this whole lifestyle shindig; just under a year. Trying to figure what aspects we like, don’t like and are just meh. I’m curious though, when it comes to forming emotional connections with other people how open are you to the idea? If it’s a scale of 1 - 10. One being completely casual, “what was your name again” sex and two being “I deeply love you and want you to come live with me and my other two wives” sort of deal... where do you fall? ::: For us we are discovering that we prefer the more connective experiences and don’t shy away from words like “love” or “relationship”. But we also love just super casual fun experiences. All of it entirely contingent on the people involved. So not quite true swingers but also not quite true poly. Trying to see how common or uncommon that is.
Oh man if two is come live with me and my two other wives I can't imagine what 10 is ;). For us we definitely don't need "feelings" involved but I do want to have some sort of connection with the other people. I dont think I could do a wham bam thank you ma'am type of situation. That being said we have played on the first meeting so idk that probably makes me a hypocrite 🤷‍♀️

Amusing Story about bad planning - Notice nobody asked the swinger\'s opinions - Oh, that was too funny. Horrid that it had to happen, but funny. And I agree, no one asked the \"swingers\" their opinion. Plus it stand to reason, 1st one to book holds seniority. If the swingers booked 1st, they had all the right to do what they wanted as long as it was within the confines of the law.

Massages - She need massages -
in our minds we are all better then the pros....just ask us.
I would even go out on a limb here and suggest that some swingers might give BETTER massages than an experienced LMT...at least as far as rubbing parts that a masseuse is legally prohibited from touching. Since I sincerely doubt they cover the fine art of erotic massage (especially with a happy ending) in LMT school, someone who has been a swinger for a certain amount of time would likely be more adept and/or experienced in that particular 'sub-specialty' of massage. BDSM and Swingers? - Where does BDSM fit in the swingers' world... your thoughts and experiences? - After 10 years of celibacy following a brain aneurysm which left my wife paralyzed and severely brain damaged in a nursing home, I decided that self-denial is unhealthy. Although I had been browsing swinger sites, plus was given a "hall pass" by my wife 6 years ago, it wasn't until 2 years ago I churned up my froze-up engine. My first new life encounter was with a "girl" much younger than my daughter who quickly introduced me to the D/s (Dom/sub) culture in its many dynamics. BDSM, DDlg (Daddy Dom / little girl) role play, hot wax, floggers, blindfolds, rope and chains.... the whole 9 yards! Since then, I have explored and encountered that Daddy Doms can be blessed with very enthusiastic young baby girls. My current little has many facets and gifted me by registering herself as owned property.... a registered slave. Since then I immersed myself in the culture, found out I was a natural-born dominant, and have never looked back. I stay in touch with swinger friends I met over the years (many are also on my Facebook...lol) and have noticed that kink is playing an ever-increasing role in swinging. The rules between the two are VERY different. I am curious to hear if and how it has become part of your play.

Alternative ways of connecting. - - We have five kids, all now adults, and most are now married and have kids. Kids and frankly grandkids make hooking up somewhat difficult. Before the spontaneous grandkid visits began, we used to host, have swinging dinner parties, etc. Our swingers playroom has been converted to a grandkids playroom. We are fine with that. Family first. If you’re hooking up with couples that also have kids, and or enjoy family lives that don’t require the crew knock before entering, most of us tend to go the hotel, motel, Holiday Inn route. The bar at the Monaco hotel is classy and the suites are too. It’s a nice place to meet and talk. If you decide to move forward they usually have rooms available.

Swingers now officially a high risk group for STDs and STIs - Do your own research -
I think everyone has got your point !!!! And yes it is smart to be tested and have safe sex but just because you have safe sex there is still a risk ...... I mean really there is a million ways to die so choose one . I say if you have been monogamous for months and you tested clean then its a great time for you to get out of the lifestyle . But why scare the hell out of everyone ??? In life with no risk then there is no reward . Just my thought ( To each there own ) Badboy
True enough. We have had quite a bit of success and reward as swingers. Frankly, it is not the most important or the most rewarding experience we have had in life thus far and that is not at all saying it has not been great. We do not mean to scare the hell out of anybody. Risk verses reward is a fact. We do not think that this forum thread or the ones that came before it or that will follow will change the the direction people choose to go with their life. If we feel the risk is worth it most of us will still take it. If anything, we do think that perhaps there is a tendency for people to use anecdotal experiences and feel good statements as a way to reassure themselves and others, about the their behaviors rather than looking at the data and more fully trying to comprehend the potentialities of their behaviors. Happens with religion and politics and most every other aspect of life that involves a support group. Dogma wins the day until enough cognitive dissonance, as Evil puts it, reaches a level of critical mass and the need to ask questions is greater than the fear of the risk of asking questions. This can be as true within a support group made up of "open minded" swingers as most any other group. Nothing wrong with asking questions and reevaluating. As i said do your own research and come to your own conclusions. Whatever any of us decides is right for us most probably is.

Pink flamingo - How many swingers have a pink flamingo in their front yard? - My new neighbors put out two pink flamingos. I wonder...
