Live and let live!!![/quote] Okay speaking plainly, many of us have been Mormons. Reading your comment I must say I do feel guilty, because I in fact do have a lot of Mormon friends. I really do not want to offend them. Very, very few people in most religions believe all the doctrine that their religion teaches. People are all individuals. I should not assume that all swingers, are not believers. Several people in this and other threads have mentioned that a lot Mormons, or Utahans, are good looking people. Hence the jokes about how hot they are. The pictures we are in where we are dressed up, and could pass for temple attendees, we look pretty darn good, better than we normally do! My out of state friends and family always, always, always mention it, when they visit. Mormons are quite often really good looking people. They are frequently very friendly people. We are Irish and visit Ireland from time to time, and in the Republic of Ireland, most everyone there knows quite a bit about Catholicism. There are a few people who are really angry at the Catholic Church there, much like here, but there are way more who albeit are no longer believers, still sort of hold something about their experiences close to their hearts. The kidding around is perhaps part of the way people cope with the loss of their religious beliefs, and sometimes some of their family and friends, once they announce they are no longer believers. I am sincerely sorry for offending you, or anyone for that matter.

Also, there is the issue that if they are not really interested in it from square one, and there are a few bad experiences, the question people like that ask is "Why am I bothering?" Take our case for instance. We don't really desire for single males or females. Those we have played with in the past have come with baggage. So, why would we be interested in venturing into that territory? Baggage + lack of interest makes it a hard sell should some single male or female come looking.

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - attitude and personality to us mean everything. We as another couple on this site, have a good age difference. Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - I agree on the difference between swinging and poly relationships. Both have their advantages at times, and their disadvantages. They are separate things, not to be intertwined, as some ppl do. Just like some swingers will do only certain things, I think that poly has many different ways to make it work, you just have to find the right ppl to be in that type of relatioship with. I would think it would be hard to combine swinging and a poly relationship, but then I have not really tried it. Being a single female, I either get contacted by single or married guys wanting a good time, or usually some guy wanting a second female for his "harem". (Sorry guys, but just cause we are in Utah does not mean women won't want a 'harem' too! IMO). Dont get me wrong, I love sex, no strings thing is good, but is also nice to know someone cares about you and you care about someone too.
