I just apply the "Don't talk about Religion...it can REALLY cause a fight." rule when engaged in the Lifestyle. (But I guess that's what I'm doing...heheheh.) I agree with some of the comments here. I study a LOT of religions (a hobby). And this lifestyle pretty much flies against most of them (10 commandments, you name it.)
So...do what feels good and don't try and hurt anyone. We're all here because we want to be. If you don't want to do this...then don't!

St. Pete FL... Anyone out there!?!?!? - - Caliente can be a bit pricy, but the facilities are nice & lots of people go there. Some smaller nudie facilities are near by there as well. The crowd, the price & the facilities at each vary. Some will give you 1-day free passes to try them out. A good percentage of swingers live at or near several of these facilities.
For more casual spur-of-the-moment hooks ups, just try some of the bars in Ybor City. While you are there, also try to catch a meal at the Colombian. The food there is worth the trip if your other plans fall through.

At what point do you out yourselves to family and friends?? - - More people know than you think. We have two small kiddos and so mums the word around them, but as for adults well we don't tell anyone except the vibe we throw off to the univeres is contantly comeing back. Hell we don't even know we are throwing it, but We surely are even other swingers in Wal Mart, Gas stations anywhere and more and more we notice them too and then confirm it with them. Non - Mormon Social Group - Get Togethers And Travel - There are swingers who used to be active, participants in the LDS Church, that are so far removed from the belief and activity that you can swear, drink, and dress provocatively when you are around them, and maybe even kiss and rub up against them on a dance floor, with their consent, in public and they don't care who sees them, and it would surprise few if they did. We pretty much fall into that category of persons. That does not even begin to suggest that just because some of the people who might see them, would not be surprised, that they won't be judgmental and gossip about them. Basically, if you are looking to be able and go out and behave contrary to the rules and regulations of the LDS Church with out worrying about guarded behavior, and you are forming a group to facilitate the fun, then it might make sense to make it plain that your group is not planning on covering up anything, beyond that which must be covered up to avoid getting arrested. The real barrier to entry for a person still involved with the LDS faith, or any other faith would seem to be their own comfort zone.
For those whose extended social circle, requires deeper discretion, most of us who don't worry much about that now, do remember when it seemed to matter way more to us too. It is okay if it will always matter to you. We all make our own choices in life. You are not alone, and yes we understand and respect you.
