We actually talked, fantasized and researched it for almost 2 years before taking the leap. One site we used that had great info is Swingers Board. We've loved it ever since. The main thing you need to do is be on the same page about what you want, what your rules and boundaries are and have fun. Go to parties. Browse profiles and contact those who interest you. Set no expectations for dates, we've found it usually doesn't go how you think it will (good and bad). Avoid anyone you get a sense of drama from. One thing we did from the beginning and do still to this day. After every party, club visit or date, we'd talk about it. What we liked, didn't like, etc. Did we mention have FUN!!!!!! Also, don't take rejection personally. It happens to pretty much everyone. Oh yeah, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

TEMPTATIONS ( CANCUN ) - CRAZY PARTY AND FUN - We have been to Temptations and the OP is correct it’s a non stop party with all inclusive drinks and food. However no playroom and not too many swingers and topless optional only. There is a quiet pool for those who want to relax.
We have reservations for their sister resort Desire Maya Pearl in June. That resort is clothing optional, a playroom and I am sure a party atmosphere also based on previous experience with this group of resorts and cruises. It is also a couples only and while we are going with other swingers we hope to meet more swingers while we are there.
It’s all a matter of what your looking for.
Calling all losers! - LS and club scene - We used to go to coffee group that was comprised of people that were either swingers or poly or somewhere in between. It was fun! Lots of great conversations. We still know quite a few of the people that went. Yes people made sexual connections. We did! It worked because it was consistently held at the same time and same place every week. It was really invitation by word of mouth that got it started and kept in going for quite sometime. Friends inviting friends meeting new friends. Some weeks there were twenty people and some weeks there were four. Most weeks there were about ten. People move away and or their schedules change and eventually the group just sort of ended. We know it went on for about six months after our schedules caused us to rarely be able to go. It seems to us that if it is consistent and for people that live in the same general location it is more likely to work longer term.
Jewellery, logos, etc to identify other swingers - We would like info on websites catering to discreet items to let others "know" we are in the lifestyle - Another site, SDC sends its members a pin with a butterfly and SDC on it. If there is another around we will sure know it. :-)

might be good to focus on other states as well .
when we start telling people we are on swingular the first thing that comes out of there mouth is well we went there and it was really for people in ut. thats all we seen on there .
or it costs way to much to join up not knowing if its worth it.
