The vent! - Judgements, I'm so tired of them. - On judgments:
My wife and I were in the lifestyle for many years. She died 5 years ago of cancer and was the love of my life. It has been very hard for me as we were married for 34 years. Many of our friends were swingers because, as others have found, those not involved in the lifestyle often have negative judgmental attitudes. We made many friends.
After she died I was supported by my friends but I was no longer invited to parties. For a while that was fine because I wasn't ready. But since I've tried to renew my lifestyle activities, I've found that I am no longer welcome. Why? Because I'm a single male. Forget that my wife and I were involved in the lifestyle up in Seattle, forget the many times we hosted parties at our house, my wife's death made me a pariah to other swingers.
I really do not understand this. I'm still the same person. I'm discrete, clean, disease and drug free, I'm not pushy and no always means no. I guess I do not understand why all of a sudden I'm no longer welcome at parties i used to attend.
Yes, many people not in the lifestyle judge those of us who are. But a large number of people in the lifestyle are just as judgmental, only they pretend that they are not.

How do you spot a Swinger..?! - tell tell signs of the lifestyle - Spotting a swinger on the outside is not easy. Then again, we are not looking for anyone on THE OUTSIDE. It's very easy to spot swingers at CLUB ELITE.. ;) We ALL are............

Look at Reddit for example, there are TONS and TONS of subreddits (communities in a sense) that have porn. (reddit.com/r/swingers, reddit.com/r/swingersGW, reddit.com/r/nsfw, reddit.com/r/straightgirlsplaying...) It would take a tremendous amount of manpower in the state of Utah (as the ISPs will not do this) to label websites as "porn". Most exclusively porn sites (tubegalore, pornhub) are likely already labeled that, but again the reddits and tumblrs of the internet would take forever to filter out.
Now, about the opt-in list being held with the ISPs. They already know every single customer who looks at porn. Unless you use a good VPN, they are well aware of every website you visit. That being said, while they might not have a list of people that look at porn, it would be really easy for a hacker to, once they get into the ISP, gather information about everyone who looks at porn and share it with the world. If they couldn't get into the ISP, they could still get this information from porn websites.
Unfortunately for the Utah government, this plan is just not possible and is basically just BS to get support for reelections...

We have backed way off of these parties as when the Haloween party was winding down. One guy that was to drunk came over pulled my wifes top down and tried to suck on her nipples. I moved him away from her and his wife just giggled and said "he loves boobs" That was enough for us to take a step back.

ADMIN: Survey Says - Site Updates for Priority - This really could be a great site, especially for Utah Swingers. Utah is so unique compared to other states, especially when it comes to situations like swinging. There are not many sites that you can go to where Mormons (exmormons really) and non-mormons get each other. For those religion suppressed people to go to and talk with others that understand them and the culture they live in...but there does seem to be less traffic on this site even compared to a year ago.

Unfortunately some people in the community get some thrill from outing others, gossip and causing chaos. That’s human nature, we suppose. Not been our thing. Guys have offered to take Mrs away and give her what they supposed she did not have. Gals have made the same offer to Mr. Again, not our thing. We’ve seen a few couples try the lifestyle as a way to “save” their relationship. If that’s what they need, it rarely works, there’s probably deeper issues at play than good playtime. We’ve had lots of fun, met really cool people, and learned so much. We’ve also had terrible (mostly comical and some tragic) times, met some creeps and assholes, and made more than a few mistakes. What consenting adults do amongst themselves is their own business. Outing others is not just bad form, but a major downer. But we’d be remiss if we didn’t admit to taking some amusement from watching them throw each other under the bus (more popcorn and a bigger bus, please!).
trying to pick a place to honeymoon - - I would say it depends on what kind of weather and scenery you want. If you want mountains for hiking/camping/skiing and that sort of thing, pick Utah. If beaches and such are more your thing, pick Florida. Both have great groups of swingers as far as what I know via here on Swingular. Personally, if I could have a honeymoon (we eloped and skipped that whole deal), I pick Hawaii. :P
