Curious Question - - Welcome to NV Poohbear!! Living in Elko we have the luxury of being within driving distance to our friends in Salt Lake City AND in Reno. What to wear to a swingers party??? - - Wear whatever makes you comfortable ladies wear something sexy guys don't show up in suit coat and tie or you will be the only one there like that ! Sports shirt and sports pants for a a guy is the norm. Clothing is not really a big deal if its a true swingers party clothes won't be on that long anyways lol.

Where are the Midwest Swingers? - - I agree. It is almost impossible to find anyone from Illinois or Missouri in the chat rooms, let alone anyone that wants to chat with a single male. Everyday I go into the chat hoping that there is someone local to chat with, and come up empty. I do value the chats that I have with other members from the western and southern states, but it is so hard to find a topic to talk about in detail besides sports, the weather, or the economy. Most people dont come in here to chat about how cold it is outside.

Don't walk in the bicycle lanes. Some of the bicycle riders there are very aggressive about getting where they are going & if you are in their lane, some of them will not be shy about knocking you aside.
Do try to take a canal ride while you are there & try to take in some of the sights. There are some good little museums there as well. In fact, Schipol Airport has a little mini museum right inside it, along with a casino, hotel, good restaurants, clothing shops & everything else that most other airports don't have. That airport is almost like it's own little city.
One quick little travel tip that I figured out several years ago: If you get a stopover in Schipol that is less than 24 hours, it is considered a layover & not a separate travel leg, so you don't get charged extra. Since Schipol still has lockers that can be rented, it is possible to connect through there, drop your main luggage in a locker & catch a train downtown with just a small back pack for a day of sightseeing & other fun on your way to other European destinations.
courtesy - dates and communication - When we started swinging there was no internet....not like today where it takes a few seconds to find someone you want to fuck and shoot off an email or a friend request. We had to find a magazine with ads for swingers (at an adult book store), write a letter, probably include a Polaroid pic with the letter and mail it and wait for a reply...which didn't always come. So I guess we kind of were conditioned to not really worry about it too much especially once internet swinging happened and it didn't take so much work to reach out. Now it takes so little effort to contact potential playmates that many people often spam out large numbers of emails in a shotgun approach or do the same with friend requests. We've, sadly, gotten to the point in our swinging career where we DON'T respond to blind friend requests or emails that are obviously sent to multiple people (no mention specifically of us or our profile). We used to respond but found that at least half the time we then got no response in return so we assumed the senders got a BBD (bigger, better deal) and were no longer interested. We really don't get our panties in a wad over it. I kind of look at it like an unsolicited spam email from someone wanting to clean my carpets. I really don't feel a great need to respond even though it would be the POLITE thing to do.
