raw statistics can be flawed. You show me stats that say today in LA, 1000 pitbulls attacked children and only 400 were committed by other various breeds. What does that tell you/me??? It says nothing of the circumstance. Were the animals mistreated and trained to attack??? How many pits are trained to fight???? Show me your stats. Stats can be skewed to fit the bias. Show me some.

That is why I said that people use these statistics to JUSTIFY their opinion. I hate Pit Bulls. Wow. It is convenient for me that the CDC has that list. Now I use that list to tell you why I hate Pit Bulls. That list, in some terms, mitigates my prejudice. New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - The swingers clubs we've gone to were in Phoenix before they closed them (showing our age here) or favorite was Guys and Dolls. They had a stripper pole, free pool tables, a shower area and a large hot tub. We weren't a fan of the hot tub but they keep it free of floating nasties. We went to Club Chameleon when guys and dolls was closed. They had multiple themed rooms (i.e. the dungeon with multiple bdsm accoutrement including a rack, the fish tank which was a room that was surrounded by clear fiberglass, and a large orgy room with a padded floor a lot of couches and porn playing through a projector) they also had multiple stripper pole a dance floor and free pool tables. The entrance was 35/couple, 25/single female and 65/single male. Idk why they got closed but the rumor for Guys and Dolls was that there were prostitutes that paid to enter and then propositioned sex for money. Finding a swingers club in state would be great. Being that we live in Box Elder County we'd probably be able to visit only every couple of months.
Moab lifestyle - looking for what lies under the covers in Moab - We get down to Moab quite a bit and can tell you with some assurance that there IS no lifestyle (at least SWINGER lifestyle) endemic to that area. Sorry, I know that's probably not the answer you wanted but it's accurate. This is Utah. We're lucky to have a VERY small number of regular clubs (bars) that are lifestyle-friendly up here in the more populated areas. There are no on-premises swing clubs in Utah. Our advice would be to advertise your trip here on Swingular and elsewhere and see if you can connect with other naughty people who happen to be traveling there around the same time, Good luck! :-)
weight approperate - - We have been in the lifestyle together for 10 years now and couples not being up front about just wanting to play with the wife alone has always been a problem with us. We let people know upfront we only play together.
Now on the weight subject...We advertise ourselves unashamedly about being a BBW/BHM couple. We also let people know if its Ken and Barbie they want they need to move on down to the next profile. We have played with HWP couples as well as with Big Beautiful Couples like ourselves. The HWP couples we have played with in the past have been amazed at our level of inhibition and sensuality. In short it was an eye opener for them...Big people can be very sexual.
One thing we have noticed is that lifestyle web sites, magazines and clubs seem to perpetuate the Barbie and Ken mystique. How often on a swinger web site have you seen a BBW, BHM of even a BBC on their front page? The same goes for magazines and advertising for clubs and lifestyle conventions and events. Even here on Swingular we have yet to see even a featured member that is a person or couple of size. In our humble opionion it's something swingers media needs to address.
Our whole take on the topic is this...If your mind is so closed that you can not see beyond exteriors then its your loss.
We started a Yahoo group called Big Beautiful Couples and Ladies a couple years ago with the idea that if membership grew large enough maybe organizing an event similar to Lifestyles or Hedonism II. Though the membership is small we still have the passion for the idea of a convention with Big Beautiful People as the primary attendees. We are still checking to see if there is a similar group here on Swingular and if not we'll be getting it rocking and rolling.
If we want people in the lifestyle to be more accepting of size (both women & men) we have to learn to be our own best advocates.

We did speak up when we first came on this site. We even paid for the lifetime membership. As you can see we still come in here and look around ( hope runs deep). We've tried contacting people who post profiles in our area. We just haven't had any luck, and haven't seen hardly any people, from this area, posting in here. Although I do have to say that it does seem that people in this area are a bit on the shy (sand bagging) side. Most won't even post pictures.
I do have to give credit to the Carolinas though. Not only do they have a good amount of swingers there, most are darn sexy if you ask me. I'd vote for the Carolinas as being the Utah of the east coast. Sorry Fla. they just seem a little more vocal in here.
