I’m defense of single males - Funny old geezers - We are in our sixth year on this site. We are also currently on three more sites, even after dropping two more. When we joined Swingular, we were taken aback from the negativity toward single guys. We did not see this this level of animosity on any other of the sites we are or were on. Aside from the folks from Idaho and Wyoming (and very, very few nationwide), this site is predominately Utah based. I am not negatively judging Utah since a survey or research was never done, but we had to wonder if this hatred is a Utah thing. Or was it a few couples who made it seem normal to criticize, demean, humiliate; and then everyone just jumped on the bandwagon? Human history has taught us that ostracizing is easier than accepting. Who knows? We certainly don't understand it. Many couples correctly point out that single guys are not [b]"swingers"[/b] since they don't swap. But, we believe that single guys are part of the [b]"lifestyle"[/b] for many couples. Why is fmf ok, but mfm is not ok? As a side note: The vast majority of our play is with couples(our preference). Before you do what a lot of individuals do on this site and make presumptuous comments, get to know the history of the website a little. The site was called something else when it started in FL. Rob, the founder of "Swingular" seperated from the co-founder of the original site. He moved to Utah and began marketing it here. That is why it is more prevelant in the two states. Polygamy in the local history has nothing to do with the amount of swingers on this site. It has everything to do with localized marketing efforts. The only people involved in polygamy in Utah are now mainly extreme minority offshoots of the LDS religion, like the FLDS or "Fundementalist Latter Day Saints" Church. They are shunned by the mainstream LDS church. They are the very reason many people today, still attach the word "polygamy" with mormons. I too, once presumed such things about them. After living amongst the mainstream members, I was quickly educated. I wasn't slamming you, it's just that we have a lot of individuals here that would rather presume or assume than take the time to research. It's kinda like people thinking most Texans are ignorant racist rednecks. While there will always be those that are true to the stereotype, it hardly means we should make such presumptions about the majority, when visiting. Hell they still hold KKK rallies in the south.
